Impressive for its time, but still too boxy.

These buildings have a brother... Three Gateway Center... that is identical... except taller... 24 stories and 344 ft

I really like these buildings... they're quite impressive when you see them all together in person... really makes an impact at the Point in Pittsburgh... very sleek and metallic

This building looks much better in person. It has an awesome facade and it looks much younger than its age suggests. An underrated building.

This building is one of a triplet of near-identical skyscrapers that are part of a larger 50's/60s downtown development called Gateway Center. One and Two Gateway Center are both 84m/276ft/20 floors while Three Gateway Center is 105m/344ft/24 floors. These three were constructed in 1952. There are other structures that are part of "Gateway Center" that are of different architecture.

For being early 50s modernist skyscrapers, I quite like these. They have held up well over the years and look much better in person. They look sleek and shiny... they really gleam in the sunlight.

The Gateway buildings are a triplet of 1950s silver towers... 1 higher than the other two... the area known as Gateway Center also includes a state office building, Hilton hotel and a condo tower
