The previous one is lost apparently so I'll start a new one.

I've been documenting places that will be taken away from us eventually. Since I can't do anything about it, I'll photograph them. In 2004, I did Tiong Bahru Market. Since July 2007, I've been documenting the National Stadium. Its still an on-going project and I hope I can get 34 photos before they demolish it. Will soon move on to other projects like the Pearl Bank Apartments. So here they are, TBM and the National Stadium.

Very nice photos! I really enjoy them, and those National Stadium pics are just priceless!

Since you are documenting the National Stadium, don't forget the nearby Oasis entertainment complex. It would be closed in December 2007 and be demolished together with the National Stadium for the new Water Sports Hub.

LOL. The starting block doormat looks very realistic.

Running tracks are usually laid with EPDM(the same stuff they use for playground). If you can get hold of a piece of the actual thing, it can become a door mat by itself. :bowtie:

Went to NUS museum this afternoon to see the Alvar Aalto exhibition and snapped this. No....... Alvar Aalto don't look like that. It from another exhibition.....

Love your photos. Btw, the second last photo from your first set, the 2 blocks of flats seperated by the road with a hardstand in the foreground. Where did you take that? Looks very interesting.

You mean this? Its somewhere in Redhill / Bukit Merah area. Can't remember the exact street name. Its been about 3 to 4 years.
