Just curious. Saw this posted on a few other cities' forums.

I would want a home in the Hollywood Hills, a penthouse in the Park Fifth, and a beach-front home in Manhattan Beach or on the Venice canals or on Naples Island or on an island in Newport Bay.

Hmmm...probably San Francisco. Somewhere in Marin county, maybe Sausalito.

Probably near the Getty somewhere not directly on the ocean but maybe a view of the basin and the ocean.There or in downtown in one massive loft like a whole floor to myself

I can be kinda thrifty. But I'd still be in the heart of Hollywood and close to pub trans!

same place. i dont like the westside into / out of traffic thing. and mountain homes usually burn. so i would build a taller apartment near my current home so i can have a view. along with that create a spur elevated rail to my building that then ties into ither the gold line or downtown so i dont have to drive to work. because even if i made a million dollars. i would still go to work to keep from going insane in my san gabriel highrise

Right where I am living now, good ol' Santa Monica.

I would love a flat in Manhattan, Philadelphia, Miami Beach, London, Paris, Madrid, Mallorca, Dubrovnik and maybe a mountain cottage in the Pyrenees.

Couldn't be happier than where I am now in good old Santa Monica.

Downtown, Palms, Mar Vista, Mid-City, Venice, Laguna Beach, or San Clemente

Since people are posting places outside of CA, which I forgot to mention, I'll add a penthouse on Miami Beach, a penthouse in some high rise in Honolulu, Rome and/or Venice, Italy, penthouse of Chicago Spire, penthouse in Lower Manhattan, classic brownstone in Boston, somewhere in Tel Aviv, somewhere in Gold Coast and/or Perth and/or Sydney, Australia, and Tahiti.
