Hello everybody. My name is Sebastian and I'm your newest member from Bucharest, Romania. I decided to join this forum after constantly visiting it and checking posts and threads here for over two months now. What better way to celebrate my joining then to create a brand new thread :hammer:
I'm really interested in the majority of the subjects discussed here and many of the information that I got from this forum has come in handy and has greatly improved my knowledge of well...basically everything related to cities/countries etc.
Now, let's cut the chit-chat and start to relate to the thread title.
I'm interested in urban furniture, what are your countries cities plans regarding it?/what is the curent state of your cities furniture in use?
I'm really dissapointed with the curent furniture that lies on Bucharest's streets, really doesn't blend in with the rest of the enviroment and it seems whenever something new gets chosen to replace the time/vandal deteriorated ones, they pick the ugliest of all choices.
I heard there are plans of replacing all of the curent street furniture in Bucharest, with some that meet european standards... The auction was supposed to take place this fall, but I haven't heard anything on this subject for quite some time.
I will start searching for different pictures of Bucharest's street furniture soon, so you may get an idea of what I'm trying to say..
