Hello forumers,

SSC welcomes you to its latest ROT forum! Just like with the Top100 and 200 series, we will be gradually adding buildings for you to rate till all 300 are showcased. Please respond and vote in each thread. This way, we can get a good overall opinion of each building. If you have any photos of any of the buildings, please post them in the threads. This way forumers can get a better idea what the building looks like.

If you have any suggestions or comments, please post them here.:cool:

Yes..due to requests from several forumers, the Top300 is now underway!

Active forumer participation is encouraged, and we'd like to hear your views on each building. Rating every thread also helps us build up a credible ranking system that we have used to rank buildings in the Top100 and 200 series.

As Naptown has said, feel free to add your own pictures and do not hesitate to inform us if you spot errors or have any queries....

is there a height statistic for the top 201-300 tallest buildings?

The range of buildings here are from 215m-198m, or 705ft-650ft.

But the list is not static, as and when new buildings are completed anywhere along the chain of top100-300, so do buildings drop off the chain:)

Do you actually re-label all the numbers when a new scraper moves into place?

ie, move them all down one to make space for the new entry?

How many threads are left? It looks like this series was easy for you guys because there weren't as many threads to create.

Newly made threads are sticky so as to ensure they do not get pushed down the page until they have received a fair amount of replies and votes that will help in making the poll results more accurate:)

That will be a nightmare! Especially with all those new and unknown buildings in China going up. I'm not saying its impossible, but we will need a large team of forumers all over the world providing info and pics of buildings from their cities if we want to have an accurate ranking;)

The ROT300 is now officially completed after about 4 and a half months since it started.

Special thanks to chongqinghero for creating quite a few threads and discovering new buildings in China which we would have missed. Thanks also to a few others who supplied pics and created threads on my request, and of course not forgetting the regular ROT team:cool: We will be adding the chart listing soon.

This does not of course mean that the buildings in this section do not change. Look out for new buildings that we will be adding throughout the Top100-300 section very soon next year;)

i think a 301-400 listing would be useful. there are so many massive buldings under construction now. even small ones like the swiss re dont get a mention...
