Westin and I have actually had the priviledge of getting ourselves into one of those top-floor galleries. I took some pictures, but they were not facing towards anything interesting... We weren't supposed to be up there either but a secretary said if we were quick it would be ok.

7/10 - Like the window pattern; reminds me of the 4 sides of Houston's tallest. The steps are kinda cool and unique too. Not too shabby.

looks boring in some angles. 7.5

It looks really austere and majestic and I would have given it 8.5, until I looked at the slim side which just looks too bare.

btw this design is similar to the Korea WTC in Seoul.

only from two angles I can say: ok, nice building. sad for this building that the truth has more sides than two. give me a good reason to prevent me for voting a 5.0..?

Those setbacks need to be more subtle. They seem too bulky and obvious.

This is in my opinion a rather arrogant, oversize, disproportionated piece of architecture. It is too large from every possible angle, the facade is bland and the massing is just inelegant. Sometimes breaking symmetry yields great artistic results, but here it is just done so distastefully. Seoul World Trace Centre in Korea achieves a similar effect in a much, much more convincing manner.

Some rating spread on this one. Not surprisingly.

Every architectural rule that binds me tells me to hate this bomb. But it's just more than "brutal"...it's BEASTIAL. And really is quite a badass design! I know, I'm nuts on this one. I'm giving it a 7.5 !! But I'm going with the gut on this Godzilla.
