cabasse February 7th, 2003, 04:57 PM Westin and I have actually had the priviledge of getting ourselves into one of those top-floor galleries. I took some pictures, but they were not facing towards anything interesting... We weren't supposed to be up there either but a secretary said if we were quick it would be ok.
7/10 - Like the window pattern; reminds me of the 4 sides of Houston's tallest. The steps are kinda cool and unique too. Not too shabby.
renell February 7th, 2003, 06:06 PM looks boring in some angles. 7.5
RafflesCity February 7th, 2003, 08:42 PM 8/10
It looks really austere and majestic and I would have given it 8.5, until I looked at the slim side which just looks too bare.
btw this design is similar to the Korea WTC in Seoul.
SteelCity32 February 7th, 2003, 10:14 PM they look good. Nice and tall.
8/10
Mr. Detroit February 9th, 2003, 12:04 AM I like the basic design of the building, but there arn't enough curves. 7/10

intervention August 12th, 2003, 11:01 PM Looks ugly from some angles, clunky from others. I hate the colour as well. 5/10
Vloepkleedje August 13th, 2003, 12:07 AM only from two angles I can say: ok, nice building. sad for this building that the truth has more sides than two. give me a good reason to prevent me for voting a 5.0..?
BGT August 13th, 2003, 01:58 AM 6/10
Gustavo August 13th, 2003, 07:32 PM This is the most horrible piece of "architecture" ever built. 3/10

looks very nice with its cool step by step pattern...
7 World Trade July 13th, 2004, 09:46 PM too much bulk, at least the setbacks are interesting enough.

GetOnDaTrain October 27th, 2004, 01:50 AM 5.5/10. The GP Tower has an interesting style I somewhat like, but WAY too much babyfat.
empersouf November 4th, 2004, 01:28 PM This one is nice. 7.5
Monkey November 13th, 2004, 03:10 PM Hmm ... a bit contrived.
Those setbacks need to be more subtle. They seem too bulky and obvious.
Apart from that, it's good.
7.5

andysimo123 November 25th, 2004, 11:18 PM 6/10
TYW March 8th, 2005, 10:59 AM too fat. the 3 layers of steps should have had a different height. And, maybe more glass??

everythingisone November 2nd, 2005, 07:30 PM I like this building. It looks different from wherever you look at it. It is in an area that feels open so people can appreciate it.

Scruffy88 December 30th, 2005, 08:24 AM 3/10 Dont know why but Ive always hated this. It looks moderatley interesting from a single angle but stray from that and i get a bland taste in my mouth. not a fan. respect the decision to try something new but IMO, they failed.

TallBox January 2nd, 2008, 11:00 PM i love it. it looks very 80s. 7.5/10
Pengui January 16th, 2008, 03:20 PM This is in my opinion a rather arrogant, oversize, disproportionated piece of architecture. It is too large from every possible angle, the facade is bland and the massing is just inelegant. Sometimes breaking symmetry yields great artistic results, but here it is just done so distastefully. Seoul World Trace Centre in Korea achieves a similar effect in a much, much more convincing manner.
3/10.

Middle-Island February 20th, 2008, 07:24 AM Some rating spread on this one. Not surprisingly.
Every architectural rule that binds me tells me to hate this bomb. But it's just more than "brutal"...it's BEASTIAL. And really is quite a badass design! I know, I'm nuts on this one. I'm giving it a 7.5 !! But I'm going with the gut on this Godzilla.
