8.5/10...Nice and simple with good color variations. I don't like the setback at the mid corners, though more points for it's fantastic lighting at night.

Ugh, it's a box. What makes it worse is that it is a Chinese box. The colors looks bad. They tried to add something fancy up the sides and failed. Then I saw the last pic, the night one. If there was a contest to throw as much random shit on to a building at night, they would have won. 3/10:bash:

hmm.. 6/10 the cladding isn't the bad. it's a box, but the cladding somehow makes up for the boring-ness of the design. i won't give add-on points for being well lit at night because if i do, then i would have to do that to every HK building;)

I dont like the bulge at the top although thats the only thing that saves this from being a total box. The night lighting adds some creativity but I dont consider that a regular part of the building.

ARGH...STOP WITH THE BOX BASHING....I MEAN REALLY.....remember these buildings main purpose is to turn a profit, maximizing office space...appreciate a form and functional building....if you have a real complaint, like the flair at the top is quite awkward or the setbacks at the base break up the vertical line of sight then go for it, but

ITS A BOX -- this is not a valid reason to hate a building

For a box I really like it. Contrasting colors and a lil flair at the top make it just different enough. Just need somethin to cover up the crap on the roof.... throw some black glass up there and we got ourselves a respectable skyscraper

Sounds about right - on a par with similar 'box' structures...Cheung Kong being the exception for its fantastic façade.
