T4 was mentioned by the previous Transport Minister as being considered but there is absolutely no details as to design etc. There's still some time to go before we even need T4. We are not Dubai.

Yeah, post in babystan's international thread or in the Singapore Changi Airport International thread. Need more forumer activity there from Singapore so our threads don't get being bumped around. I wanted to say I like baby's photo then I realize there are 2 babies. So I like babystan03's photos they have this sharpness to it.

Was intending to go in Dec before it finishes...then again it could be crowded then.

I went there 3 days before the Public Tour since our school plan for us to go there. When I step out of the bus, in my mind was "WOW!" We waited for awhile before we were brought in and I noticed that the small entrance might not fit Yao Ming. It was really short but when you step in, it is really tall and magnificent like no word can describe it. Than we continue the tour and within 30 minutes we have finish the tour. It is a pity, I never bring my camera since the personnel emailed my teacher that we are not supposed to bring camera the day before but the day itself they told our teacher that we can bring. My handphone got camera function but cannot upload to computer since it is very old.

The photos looks so crisp, clean. The whole place looks almost like computer graphics so soothing are the lines and the colors... got too see the place in real

I have a feeling it has something to do with the lens. I realise many of the photos on this forum are taken with wide-angle lenses. It might be subconscious.

T3 has a nice sense of familiarity to T1 and T2, well, more T2. And finally we can enjoy the new facade of T2 in its new UPGRADED glory.

Its so cute the plasma displays at the "check in counter" dont display flight info but rather, the open house ticket counter info!

And thank god they dont dispense tickets from makeshift booths, they use the check in rows instead!

And though the font style for the signage isn't as nice as those for Toronto Pearson for instance, they are very clear with bright text on a dark background, and colour coded as well. How do they colour code signs anyway? Well, better than ugly and not clear.

Wings and tail are much huge compared to B747. :)

Airbus will extend the fuselage of A380 soon. It will be known as Airbus A380-900... First A380-900 with extended fuselage will be available in 2015 once the production line has given green light to start producing bigger ones.

Finally went today, armed with a lousy cam. The "B1 B2 signs at the A380 gates are up. I think they are pasting "Gates" today. Didn't know that two humps in the back of T3 are for A380 only gates.

Too bad the left side of T3 was out of bounds, basically only right side. Haiz. But still quite a nice place. B1 is empty dunno for what purpose. B2 feels like a cross between AMKHub and VivoCity. But it really feels like a mall. Very weird feeling at the airport.

Couldn't find the toilet facing the runway. And viewing mall sunshades are still everywhere.

Weird that this airport terminal does not have the big departure board.

But arrivals does feel more airy.

Weird red road.

I don't understand how the ceiling reflects light into the terminal.

Why do they put the Crowne Plaza sign when the hotel isn't ready?

The floor and carpet and roof amazingly don't make me feel messy or frustrated at all. The terminal is just too open and airy for that.

Those are some of my comments for now. hehe...

When they step out of the planes and into the terminal, they won't feel they are at the AIRPORT. They would feel they are just in a mall like what they have back home.

Walking into immigration from the gates can be amazing. Seeing shuttle trains pulling in from the distance. And you can see public people walking behind the glass wall. It feels like welcoming you home.

Then seeing trees and the waterfall and wall of plants - would make things look comfortable.

The best thing as soon as u step out of arrival hall. Taxi stands just at the doorstep unlike the ones at Terminal 1 and 2 where you are forced to walk over a distance...

To me, the more times I visit T3, the more times I feel less impressed.

I feel T3's identity is too contradicting.

I would have gone to type an essay about how it is contradicting to me but bottomline is that an airport must first and foremost, be an airport and feel like one... For travellers, for meeters and greeters, and aviation enthusiasts :) alike...

thanks for posting the pictures...Im planning to visit several Asian cities this year & Singapore is one of them..

Im really an avid Aviation enthusiast...I was wondering if there are places to take photos in Changi Airport itself..(see i plan to do this on Asian cities i will visit)....since it will be my first time?....i wont be specific...i just wanna take some video clip & of course...photos of the airport...i do that A lot here in Sydney, at the terminal, the observation decks & even at beach on the runway...there is an active aviation enthusiast community here in Sydney & Is a actually a good airport to go plane spotting..

anyway Im hoping some of you guys can guide me through is i would really love to explore Changi Airport of course...i know there are areas with limitations...but still...there should be areas I can access right?...to take photos at least or video's...its quite common here in Sydney wether it on the beach on the runway or the terminal food court...I remember late last year I went on a Airside tarmac tours at Sydney Airport..one of its kind...really amazing...we went at parked meter from the runway 16R 34L though the jets are just amazing its really
an amazing experience to hear them next to you...you can just feel the power...specially when 777-300er took of meters from us...man those engines have some power punch..



anyway Im getting carried away..haha
