The Island Shangri-La Hotel tower rises 50 storeys above the podium and houses the 574- room Island Shangri-La Hotel above the lower office floors at Two Pacific Place. The Main Lobby together with the dining facilities: the Lobster Bar, the Summer Palace. Nadaman, Cyrano and the Island Ballroom are located at the podium while Petrus is at the top of the hotel tower. The health club includes a well-equipped gymnasium free-form pool. The hotel enjoys a separate porte cochere from Two Pacific Place.

I like the reflection of the facade.The shape is dope too.But what i don't like is the white thing near the top.It's too big! 7.0/10

The only 2 pictures I can see, give a wrong impression. At the pictures on skyscrapers.com (http://www.skyscrapers.com/re/en/im/pc/120377-8-1) (which were probably shown here once too) it looks much beter. 8.0

Fantastic facade and design and the refelctive glass is awesome. The shape is awesome. great tower and it works with the nearby bank of china tower or whatever it is called nowadays. One of Hong Kongs iconic structures.

I stayed next door at the JW Marriott. The Shangri-La and the Conrad Hotel are twins. Both look beautiful, especially from the outdoor pool terrace in the JW Marriott. The mountains in the backdrop are spectacular.

The building looks nice especially the interior!

Hong Kong was really building some amazing designs in the early 90's. This one would easily be mistaken for a fresh-out-of-the-box design if it was transposed in most other cities today. I mean there's nothing extraordinary here, just some sleek and timeless stuff that still does a good job at looking nice 20 years after it was drawn up.

Shangri-la Hong Kong Island is much nicer the Shangri-la Kowloon. However its facade is aging fast.6/10
