Most of us here are young So I’m going to ask this..... What are we Doing to change L.A for the better. We seem to know what we want for L.A. So why don’t we change it. If we want Broadway to really change why don’t we study the field to whatever will get us in charge and do something about it. We want more urban developments why don’t we study that field and build our own buildings. We are Urban freaks we should just do what we Love. What do you think? Where..... are all the urban planers or developers on this website? Are the only people who are on here the ones who wish and hope all the time. :) I’m just wondering what is your view in the future is it to always hope for new developments, hope for the subway to reach the sea, hope for a better city one day in the future. Or do you see yourself one day being that person who makes the change or is involved to help makes these hopes come true?

hey..that's why i'm studying architecture. I want it to lead into something more like urban planning or the like. I've love to come back to L.A. and work with the city to do some changes. we'll see

i wanna do urban planning but my whole family is against that idea. i would probably be shunned by everyone but my grandparents.

^^ agreed. it is your future. I would definitely read some books on fields you are interested in and try to get some internships too. It'll help a lo (if you have uncertainty about urban planning). Your family will get over it.
