Vitriol February 1st, 2005, 07:01 AM LMAO, God this city is full of cheap shit. The crap certainly outnumbers the good. papervagina February 1st, 2005, 10:28 AM Wow, I'd love to meet the artist who conceived that "work". Everything about this building looks cheap and nasty; who's the architect? Isn't its about time SCC banned new cream apartment buildings on the western side of the city? It all looks so boring from Darling Harbour. SinCity February 2nd, 2005, 05:15 AM That thing on top is damn ugly. I expected glass but if they leave it like this, then they have really ruined this building. AltiusAltiusAltius February 2nd, 2005, 10:34 AM That's freakin' disgusting! :bash: The building sucks and the top is even worse... :wallbash: Trances February 2nd, 2005, 12:30 PM so sad was look out across this all last night just hope that talls behind it take away from it Blue_Copper February 3rd, 2005, 02:33 AM might as well replace it with a trolly it'll look better. fro February 3rd, 2005, 02:51 AM Well at least it's got some better facade work and articulation going on than BLOODY SUMMIT right next to it!!! Cream, bloody cream apartment buildings, if I see another bloody cream residential tower I'll go bonkers. Burn this thread Cul, burn it to ashes. Is that art too? finn February 8th, 2005, 06:46 AM I like Cassia and Sun Towers! Especially from the Sussex St aspect. :tongue2: papervagina February 8th, 2005, 02:01 PM I love the cream - makes it look like it's just an extension of that other masterpiece, Summit. Adelarch February 8th, 2005, 02:14 PM that photo from George St is about the best angle IMO As for the frame, I thought Latitude's frame was a bit incomplete but that's just ridiculous, looks like a cheap CD stacker CULWULLA February 18th, 2005, 12:32 AM post your completed pix here of this wonderful complex! lol CULWULLA February 18th, 2005, 05:13 AM Suntower actually looks ok. http://img62.exs.cx/img62/7258/suntowerfeb185wl.jpg CULWULLA March 8th, 2005, 05:16 AM http://img94.exs.cx/img94/2508/suntowermar84ea.jpg Adelarch March 9th, 2005, 11:15 AM yeah the section fronting George St actually looks quite slick papervagina August 5th, 2005, 03:05 PM Yeah, apparently it is an artwork LOL I asked a rep last week if it would light up at night and she said replied that it wouldn't be. She called it an art piece. It had some criss-crossing blue lights shining on the metal when I looked up at it tonight; looked OK, I suppose, but still looks like crap during the day. I haven't noticed it before, so no idea how long the lights have been there. |
