yeah rizal, for me i think, in ASEAN, indonesian has the most attractive design of new building. Far more better than what we have here

My pride says 'I don't think so' but my relistically...yup, Jakarta is more adventurous in designs of new buildings...

yeah but hopefully the new millennium residence tower will change everything....probably the best design in kl....

Don't get me wrong, buildings in KL are not too bad...but not a whole lot of wow factor except for Petronas towers, new residential projects tho are quite spectacular but none of them are in close vicinity to KLCC. Most buildings are quite boxy except for Avare and Oval, anything else in the are are just 'embellished' boxes..most with different 'caps' and stumpy body..K Residence tho came out quite stunning..just my 2 cents

well we have one of the most beautiful Supertall Skyscraper that is our beloved PTT.

In terms of new buildings... the twin PGCC is simply awesome. In kl, K Residence and Avare is quite sexy, Four Seasons is nicely done, The Capers is brilliant and of course Millennium Residence is "Wow"!

Setia ecocity in JB is coool and setia city's windcatcher will put Malaysia back on world Architecture map.

are they going to build enough parkings for the lrt station as well? i used to park there to take the lrt, the lot was huge and parking was normally full... with ppl taking the lrt to the city. without this lot, are they indirectly discouraging taking public transportation?

KUALA LUMPUR: Mengerikan apabila badan dua pekerja binaan warga Bangladesh hampir berkecai sepenuhnya selepas dihempap tong pengangkut bahan binaan di sebuah tapak pembinaan di Jalan Bangsar Utama di sini, semalam.

Dalam kejadian kira-kira jam 2.45 petang itu, kabel pada tong berkenaan terputus daripada sebuah kren di tingkat 22 sebuah bangunan dalam pembinaan sebelum terjatuh dan menghempap mereka.

Sumber berkata, kedua-dua mangsa berusia 30 dan 40-an melakukan kerja bersama beberapa pekerja di tempat kejadian.

“Ketika kren itu di tingkat 22, kabel tidak dapat menampung berat bahan binaan yang diangkat menyebabkannya terputus.

“Tong yang dianggarkan lebih satu tan itu jatuh menghempap dua buruh binaan terbabit,” katanya di sini, semalam.


Menurutnya, kepala seorang daripada mereka pecah manakala badan rakannya hampir hancur sepenuhnya dan bertaburan hingga beberapa meter di sekitar lokasi kejadian.

“Sepasukan anggota polis dan Jabatan Pertahanan Awam Malaysia (JPAM) mengambil masa hampir setengah jam untuk mengumpul cebisan mayat mangsa.

“Polis bagaimanapun gagal mengesan beberapa pekerja, termasuk operator kren untuk membantu siasatan berikutan mereka dipercayai menghilangkan diri sejurus kejadian,” katanya.

Difahamkan sebuah bangunan pejabat 38 tingkat sedang dibina di tempat kejadian.

Sementara itu, Ketua Polis Daerah Brickfields, Asisten Komisioner Wan Abdul Bari Wan Abd Khalid, ketika dihubungi, berkata kejadian terbabit diklasifikasikan sebagai mati mengejut.

“Kami tidak mengesyaki sebarang kes jenayah,” katanya.
