How do add pictures to this forum using image shack?

Copy the image address... right click on the image, or ctrl on a mac

the address you are after will look like this

http://img217.imageshack.us/img217/2177/mcdandara360ph125m01abv8.jpg

then add img /img in tags either side

this is a .gif file... works fine. Have you used the .gif suffix?
