Over the weekend, we pass the abandoned showroom just at the corner of Berjaya Times Square on Jalan Pudu/Jalan Imbi.

I believe Berjaya has plans for this project, once the Pudu highway and Pudu Jail Redevelopment kicks off. (Berjaya Times Square Sdn Bhd owns this parcel, which so happens is an indirect client of mine.)

Whoa, the design for that Menara Berjaya is so old school, just like the original Mid Valley City masterplan... More suitable for the 90s than the 2010s!

If that building is to be built, the design should be something like the glassy CapSquare Tower 2 or even Lot C in KLCC...

no... I think the architecture of Menara Berjaya is good because the architecture style is similiar with the Berjaya Times Square which adjecent of it. It looks good when they are together, but if glassy design... I think it looks weird when they are together.

^ But they don't need to look like they belong to the same project... I do agree it would be good if they can be harmony though.

Agree with SEED there... The color can be quite similar but instead of merely painting the facade, Berjaya can clad it with a Westin-like color instead... At least the building will look more modern while maintaining the color harmony with the existing Times Square at the same time... :)

^^ I guess this wont start as soon eventhough BBCC might complete,maybe when only BTS is fully occupied or either there is a high demand for commercial/office space.

if build, that building will be quite tall...................... however i saw one proposal not too long ago that the site is for a 20storey boutique apartment instead
