I'm sorry but I'm just extremely curious about this one so I'm gonna ask it again:

the building seems to have such a small floor plan! What's going on with this one? Is it condo? hotel? office? movie set?

It's a conversion from an office bldg that had a horrible electrical fire and was abandoned. I remember people had gotten inside and tagged the windows of high floors from inside. Crazy. This project does seem to be going slowly...as the residential market crashes to earth (we're just seeing the beginning of it) I think we will start to see some developers realize they're never going to get their money out of some projects and just walk away leaving half-done projects. Unimaginable, but that's how bad things are going to get with credit markets just drying up. I highly doubt this will be one of them, but it does seem very slow going, who the F knows.
