Well blame kris aquino why asiong was only shown in 17 cinemas. It was revealed that kris aquino ordered the printers to stop printing asiong salonga movies but instead increase the number of prints for her segunda mano movie. Also rumored that kris aquino is moving heavens and earth with the mmff judges to name dingdong as the festivals best actor, Probably shes paying back the favor to dingdong for supporting his brother in the last elections.

Actor Tyron Perez found dead

(UPDATE 4) Young actor Tyron Perez, who rose to fame in the GMA-7 reality-based talent show "Star Struck" and has since transferred to ABS-CBN as a Star Magic talent was found dead Thursday night, December 29, in Valenzuela City. He was 26.

Star Magic, which co-manages Tyron with director Jerry Lopez-Sineneng, said in a statement: "Our deepest condolences to the family of Tyron. Let's pray for the eternal repose of his soul."

Circumstances surrounding his death are still being investigated as of posting time.

Death of Tyron Perez was kinda shocking. Movies on MMFF did well too.. Congrats to the winners.. ;) Looking forward on the movies on 2012.. Hope to see more interesting movies.

That fact this movie is more "masa oriented" compared to lets say Yesteday Today and Tomorrow.

This movie deserves to be shown in Cannes or any other film festival

i just watched asiong salonga. ang ganda nga. the story is very solid and the cinematography is superb. there were editing mishaps but forgivable. i just wished na sana iba na lang ang gumanap na asiong. though kamukha talaga ni ER si Asiong i think mas may justice kung si baron geisler na lang gumanap. medyo robotic kasi ang hand gestures ni ER. i wanna see the director's cut (by tikoy aguiluz).

somehow sad that the top 2 films in terms of tickets sold eh yung pinaka walang kwenta. :lol:

I agree, baka mas mainam pa nga na si Baron Geisler ang gumanap na Asiong, or better yet, pumili nalang sana sila ng medyo mature na leading lady para kay ER. sobrang bata kasi tignan ni Carla kay ER para maging asawa, unless sa totoong buhay ni Asiong eh sobrang bata talaga ng asawa niya :lol:
