Maybe the other side of the Mall. Behind The Atlantic there are a lot of empty plots...

next to the Gourmet Tower, there is a small plot, behind that(and also behind the Silverene) is the West Avenue.

Arabtec cabins already moved on hotel site.

If they really start building now, which I doubt (another hotel in this oversupplied hotel market?), this would be hard on the Silverine apartments facing this way. Already the ones facing SZR will have a Select construction site for years to come. So the building has the Marina to one site, two constructions sites to the back and the right and a road which will get busier and busier to the left. It's a pitty for such a beautiful development to start its "life" under these circumstances.

I guess it's only a Temporary storage area for Silverine Tower .

Nothing has been started yet on this Project.

But eventually we have to except that, this is a prime area and will not stay a football pitch for very long.

The site is cleaned .

I notice the temporary a/c units supplying the office block next door have gone. I wonder if this is a sign that they have just got their DEWA connection.

This plot has been left very tidy and looks like it has been prepped for a very long period of redundancy.

TB not only that, the deafening generators have also gone and on a few occasions recently, I have seen all lights on in the evening including externals so I am sure they have the DEWA now

Agree, many more here should be moved to NEVER BUILT section , like Harbour Residence , Ice Tower,Tebyan Towers , Marina 106 , KPM Tower etc...Its almost 100% guaranteed that nothing will be happening there for a long.

If there are some activity we can create a new thread probably with new name and details after few years:)
