Wow those look great. I think it's safe to say that PofS is having a building boom. The waterfront is going to look very nice in a couple of years with all these projects.

They are supposed to be 19 floors each. One tower is up to the 8th floor the other the 6th.

Your right. And the residents were not too happy about the buildings going up in their neighborhood. Apparently there was some kind of community covenant which agreed that no buildings were to be built over 2 stories but town and country planning went ahead and gave the developers permission to build anyway. I personally think these high rises should have been built at a different location, possibly next to the existing apartment buildings near to west mall. Proper zoning which is enforced in Port of Spain is badly needed.

The curtain wall's starting to go up, cool. Same color as the rendering.
I noticed that the podium shown on the rendering hasn't materialized though, wonder if they're building it after or decided to not use it.

Not surprise. There are jobs in Trinidad but what is the government doing to help folks to qualify, like quality training for construction projects.

Reports yesterday that a worker fell from the 17th floor of one of these towers. :ohno:
Somehow he survived the 100+ ft fall and is in hospital. Hope he pulls through.
