The architect firm reports that they have completed a detailed plan of this project now, and released a few good renderings. Hope to find more renderings of this one soon. Also, finally some progress, since its two years ago this one was announced. :)

Here (http://www.bryggeriparken.no/doc/Sequence%2001.wmv)(WMV file) is a video of Bryggeriparken. Looks great!
(http://web3.aftenbladet.no/innenriks/okonomi/article282323.ece)

i think that when sandnes and stavanger makes one city (which will be called Stavanger:)) forus will be the city center. stavanger will be the old city and sandnes the smaller city... an all in one city!

Tu's map is all wrong for not just this project, but for every one! I can't believe they originally made people pay for this service;P (They still do for the full version). 2500 million kroner, that's great news;D

For those of you who want to see longer into the future, bygg.no offers a search in the same database for construction start untill 1. quarter 2010:

^^ good news, but they are probably going to build it in several stages, so can't expect the highrise to start construction in 09.

Nah, and Bybane-study has been delayed (again) untill August, and Rogaland-politicians still think the state will contribute. Bybanen is the most important piece to attract urbanity to Forus... I don't know what chances we have on it getting financed by the state or Rogaland agreeing to shuffle road-projects to pay for it... Maybe a deal with land-owners can pay for a part, but that's not enough...

With Rogfast og Ryfast, there is probably not much to hope for fundings for the Forus LRT. But it would be cool, even more cool if they continued it to downtown Stavanger also.

Not much process it seems, and this tower reminds a far future project.

Bryggeriparken.
