It's not an unknown city. It's the capital of Sichuan, which is the most populous province in China.

Pretty good skyline, not bad at all. I guess it is as the result of economic boom, China is booming everywhere. Even villages becomes big towns, and cities become massive metropolises. Overall, 7/10

Actually IT IS quite famous in Japan and Korea since the famous 14th-century novel "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" takes place in Chengdu as the capital of one of the three kingdoms that were established during the early 3rd century. :)

About the skyline, it is VERY CHINESE as other people have mentioned. Except the one that looks like One Liberty Place in Philadelphia, all the buildings are either ugly/boxy. 5/10 for its historical/geographical importance.

Chengdu is one of my favorite chinese cities & the skyline is good too.

seem liek on of the better chinese cities that i have seen posted here
but sill only 4 or so few nice roof features and low spawl for miles
not what great skyline and cities are made off

Chengdu, another city in the west part of China, just like her peer cities in the coastal areas, have many nice-looking scrapers.
