For some of you who think that TWO Freedom Towers should be built to evoke what was built before and then destroyed on 09-11-01, I'd just like to say that I'm quite happy with the one Freedom Tower, along with the other planned towers for Ground Zero.
We're getting a superscraper - and office tower of truly epic proportions, even though it may not be the WTB or the CTB. It will howevr, be the tallest building on the Easten Seaboard like the Twins once were before they were destroyed!
It will be as tall as the former towers, as everyone knows. We'll still get a retaurant and well as an obs deck in Tower 1. Towers 3 and 4 will even be tall in their own right. Even Tower 5 will have some tall height to it! They will all make up for the office space that was lost.
To say that these towers lack style, elegance and stature is just an understatement. What more could anyone possibly want?
We'll even get a replacement shopping mall, memorial and a brand new restyled state-of-the-art PATH Station kiosk will small stores and restaurants.
So, if there is anyone who is dissatisfied with this new plan, well, as the LMDC once said to the families who wanted changes made to the memorial, "Enough is enogh. This is what we are going with."
Everyone already knows this, yet they still want something different. Can't please everyone, otherwise nothing would be built.
