The Bucs have had a pretty decent 5 years in the NFL and the outlook for this year reads PLAYOFFS, so my question is, Could a city like St.Pete and the Tampa Bay Area afford and support another football team?

If the stadium seated 95k and had been a sellout for 20 years straight, with a good or bad team, and other football activities like USF and Storm sold out every time for 20 years as well... Then MAYBE the NFL would think about adding their 48th US expansion team here.... lol

Tampa isn't big enough to support two teams...I can't think of many cities that are.

Central Florida will have NFL way before Tampa Bay is even considered. I doubt Central Florida will even get a team in the next 15 years. So perhaps in 50-75 years TB will be considered for another team, maybe.

Anyhow, no way would this area will get another NFL team.

The Bucs were always in the top in earnings....even when Culverhouse owned them and pocketed all the money. They were the top grossing team for many years throughout the 80's... They paid out nothing but earned multi millions from the NFL TV contracts...

How about getting a basketball team here?

Tampa has 3 football teams, what more do you want. Anything more would be counter productive for the entire lot.

Tampa Bay Storm

With NFL teams already in place in Tampa, Miami, and Jax, there is no chance of another franchise making it to Florida.

Tampa will not be getting another football team. In fact unless the Jaguars move out of Jacksonville I would probably bet there will always be 3 NFL teams in Florida. Putting one in Orlando would be counterproductive to the Jags, Bucs and Dolphins.
