^^ In Bucharest there are about 30.000 taxis, yet it is extremely difficult to get a cab during the bussines days. I would be interested what's the situation in other capitals.

Also, another important thing is that the ussual fee/km is about 0.5 EURO.

Well, the taxi situation in Budapest is really messy... There is a great variety of cars since any car with at least 4 doors can become a taxi. On the other hand, there is no standard color scheme like they have in Bucharest, so they have all sorts of colours too (only those Mercedes W124 and W210s have the same beige colour which are imported from Germany :)) The most popular cars are Skoda Octavia and Superb, Mercedes E-Klasse, VW Passat, Ford Mondeo and Citroen Picasso. At least some companies are trying to have a standard look.

Zóna Taxi is the official taxi of Budapest Ferihegy Airport. The company was founded last year, and they promised to have a standard look so they begun with black cars, but now there are some grey and silver ones too...
