Hi does anyone know of any good tattooists in and around Auckland ? I want someone that specialises in black and grey and photo realistic styles

That doesn't surprise me, considering they get international celebs through.

I'm not in Auckland, so I'm of no help. I just know a case of two who've flown up from the South Island especially for Rose.

I'm going to christchurch in feb for the tattoo festival in ricarton, i'll be looking for nz tattooist there, hopefully i can find some that are auckland based,

I heard dermagraphics is really good, has anyone heard of this place ? i think its near ponsonby

I didn't know about that. I should go, considering I have none, but are in the process of designing for myself something elaborate which is going on both my lower arms. It's a process that's taken months so far. I'm not rushing it, because if I fuck up and aren't 100% sure I'm happy with the designs, I'll have ruined my life - especially considering I'm going for such a visible location (and I rarely wear more than a t-shirt). I'll probably use Southern Ink in Chch. They seem good enough from what I've seen.
