^^ Yes, unfortunately that photo is not the best from a photographers POV, Rawlee. It's overexposed. Great photo for home-use though. I hope next time you'll be more lucky at Gellert hill.

My problem with today's Belo Horizonte banner is the same. It's not a artistically photographed view of the city, it's rather average. And the banner of SSC must not be average.

Je to taka klasika, ktorou sa nic nepokazi.
Inak, a zase tam ten komin pekne vytrca.

Tak tento sa mi páči najmenej, vytŕča tam nielen komín, ale aj katedrála a nejaký divný dom a dokopy tam nič nie je vidno.

Myslim ze toto nehrozi,a tak isto mam rad system hniezd,ktory sa tvori v BA,ze nakoniec budeme mat asi po celom meste uz nie roztrusene vyskovky,ale roztrusene cele hniezda,co moze byt celkom zaujimave v buducnosti.

^^ Anyway, during my staying in Bratislava I never recognized the chimney. Even from the castle hill, I don't remember seeing it because despite of its height it's pretty thin and not that annoying on the horizon. OK, it's certainly more annoying for your eyes than for a foreigner's eyes. You must have a paranoia about the chimney... :D

Maybe it was because you never know about it and did not expect it in the city. And, from the historical city it is not visible (except of SNP Square) :)

I think that this current Bratislava is nicer than the night scene. Perhaps some image from Nový most café UFO or from Petržalka looking towards the castle and Nový most in sunset would look nicer, but who knows :-)

^^ It's certainly not the most creative banner. I hate cities who wanna advertise themselves by montages with dozens of little pictures merged together. Cityscape photos must be on banners not postcards. :ohno:

Today's Taranto is one of the dumbest logo ever. Sorry. :) Perfect panorama but about what? Commie-looking buildings in the far distance. If I didn't look at it from close I would recognize it as a large oil-refinery plant on an arabian seashore.

Today Taranto banner is the worst I've ever seen.. after Antananarivo on yesterday or what was that..
