Warsaws 3rd tallest building, and in my opinion one of the best looking towers in Europe.

I can't really figure out where the tower is going to be built... it clearly is near the central station and the palace of culture and science, but in which direction (north? west?)?

Rondo 1 is going to be build right behind the building that says Bosch. The short green one. The first building on your right is the main train station. Palace of Culture and Science would also be to your right. Its a perfect location :)

Well, to tell the truth those 194m include antenna mast . Nevertheless it's gonna be great :)

Tower will be situated to the North-West from the Palace (and very close to Warsaw Financial Center) and to the North from the central station.
Look at first rendering - Palace of Culture is visible there, on the left, and Marriot, which is really close to the central station, is on the right :)

Great tower.

Warsaw's skyline will look really American after this gets built.

Peter The Great
August 27th, 2003, 01:11 AM
Yes, very nice looking design indeed...but I hope to God that Warsaw isn't going or planning to look like an American city with it's planning and architecture. Lucky this building doesn't look very American...it's original and very European (if there is such a thing) in my opinion. Wish it was taller though >(

I think this could become the best looking scraper of Warsaw!! I like the design. And its good to see something tall getting under construction!!! :okay:

heh yeah its real nice... only i have 1 question... how low can u make a 40 storey building? since they might start building one soon... they have given a hight of only 120 meters.. which is! SMALL!!!!!! howcome

John
June 7th, 2004, 09:30 PM
@ch1le
a residential of 40 storeys and 120-130m is quite a normal thing because floor-to floor height can be as low as 3 m. Different thing for A class offices, it's usually about 3.5-3.7m

What is Euroflag doing there? :|

Because Cap Gemini / Ernst and Young is a french company maybe. French firms enjoy a lot the EU flag and to say that they are the first investors in Poland :D (But E&Y surely took a british architect because the company has british roots)

Nowa siedziba = New headquarters / Ernst and Young 2006

The general contractor/investor is a polish branch of german Hochtief. Ernst&Young has signed simply a lease contract with HOCHTIEF for 11,000 square meters (the whole space is 95 000) of office premises and it will be the main headquater for their 1000 polish employees.
