cool. is it a serious project or just a proposal for this site? I like the location. this roundabout should be the main cluster. it doesn't look like 180m in some of the pics though. on the first one it looks more like 125m ... compared to the other tower already completed.

It's the part of Katowice's City Center Renovation.
No, it won't be 125 metres. You can see the tallest skyscraper in Katowice, Altus. It has got 125 metres and Silesia Tower look quite big next to Altus for example on this visualisation:

I know, but on the first rendering it looks like it's the same size as the 125m tall tower.
are there more skyscrapers proposed for the area?

No. But near this skyscraper grow up 20 new skyscrapers.

SilesianSkyscraper, po co robisz wioche jak wiadomo że ten budynek nigdy nie powstanie? To jest tylko koncepcja i takie widzi mi sie tego architekta.
Pomyśl chłopie i zobacz ze ta wizualizacja obejmuje budynek "Michalika" i brakuje tam 135m budynku jak i miejsce za budynkiem Korfantego 2 gdzie powstanie 22 pietrowy biurowiec.
Tak samo z Gantem :| Przecież to tylko II nagroda...
Pozniej ludzie pomysla ze wiele planow, a malo realizacji :/
