if the pic is correct , location is next to the Rolex Tower

no info abouth the height but the 21st Century Tower is 55 floors and 269 m maybe this will be 300m+

I scanned from the Mazaya News, Nov 2007.

^^ were is the design? It's a box! There's no design.

It's a giant ugly box....

It looks like something out of the 70's!

^^Of course that's not really the design...it doesn't match the description at all...50 some floors. I presume that they haven't finalized the design enough to release yet and they just grabbed some random generic tower render clipart for their ad....

Edit: It's funny to see poor little short little ugly little Rose Rotana in the ad before it became a flower

i like boxy buildings, we need more of them in Dubai :)

looking at the rendering, seems like the rear end has a bend to it. Kinda wish they'd flip that around to face SZR. I also kinda wish that it wasn't sandwiched in between those other gorgeous buildings.

LOL so Bin Drai Enterprises really sold the plot and isn't going to build the Wood Bagot's designed Park Plazza there.

Cool tower, not sure if it fits though. Perhaps Dubai needs some boxy towers, but not at that plot please!

I don't think it will be a supertall.

I don't think it will be a supertall.

Its looks like an office building so it should be just reaching 300m

Yah, i hope thats the case, because there's nothing more annoying then reading comments from people that are impressed by a fregen box!

Nice location. It will be a good filler (not saying its bad).

Also good to se some new launches in Dubai again. I realise they already have a lot of developments to focus on.

Annoying ?? haha
sad to let other people's different style oppinion get on your nerves, :ohno:

so to irritate you more I will add that this render is much nicer then most of the buildings at szr, no pointless ornament or lines and decor that has no purpose at all. just plain simple minimalistic structure-IMO!!!
but probably not the final version so we can all relax
