Its 2008! Happy New Year everyone! Heres hoping 2008 is a great year for you all!

:banana::banana::cheers::cheers::banana::banana::pepper::pepper::booze::booze::banana::banana:

Interested to know how everyones New Years partying went. Did you have a little :cheers: or maybe dance/rock yourself stupid :banana::rock::pepper: hopefully you got alot of :kiss::kiss: did it end in the dreaded:puke: or was the night a total flop:goodnight

New Years eve I spent the day in Kaikoura fishing with my 4 year old son and then got back to Christchurch about 4pm. I had a quietish night last night having a couple of beers at a mates house in Dallington, a bbq in the backyard with kids and dogs running around. You get the picture. Beautiful warm evening, which we've been having alot of lately. Then it was home to put my wee guy to bed- he was tuckered out by 10pm. To be honest I'm happy to knock off the crazy stuff for a year.

At midnight I was out on my balcony though watching the street go by. Got a sort-of half decent view of the fireworks. After a big few days I was happy to be off to bed early and slept like a rock. Even the little guy let me sleep in until 7:30- joy!

Might not be the most exciting New Years experience- but just in case you had a similar one- you are not alone. (I did get a couple of kisses today at another barbie thank god!) :kiss::kiss::kiss::kiss::kiss::kiss::kiss::kiss::kiss::kiss::kiss::kiss::kiss::kiss::kiss::kiss::kiss:

Happy New Year! :) I was in my living room suspended in midair when the clock hit 12. I jumped just at the last second of 2007.

I'm still piecieng together my actions on new years (as are the authorities) but I did wake up on the floor in the afternoon and watched the American new years on FOX News. I got to see two new years within 24 hours, and also see the mystique and beauty of Times Square and Megyn Kelly.

My girlfriend and I were sitting on one of the cricket pitches in Victoria Park with a great view of the fireworks issuing from the Skytower!
Nice warm night and good to see the show live instead of on the internet :).

I have to stop watching the Times Square coverage and just bloody go there. Always get so jealous watching that. Especially when the gorgeous spunky Megyn Kelly is there. She is an uberbabe. Cant stand that monkey of a co-anchor on Americas Newsroom, whatever his name is, he is so obviously trying to get into her pants even as they read the news. Its so wrong. Why does Fox have the best looking chicks?

Made me feel ILL with all their "greatest show on earth", "greatest city on earth" "God bless America" ... I have news for those morons ..... God gave up on America on a loooong time ago and Sydney / Hong Kong kicked your asses all the way back to the pioneer days ....

I did New Years eve in Wellington this year. Went home and stayed with some old school chums. We got the time completely wrong, at midnight we were on Cambridge Terrace making our way to Courtenay Place. If we had have left the party 10 minutes earlier we would have been amongst the throng. My calculations have me believing we were outside the Vietnamese restaurant as the clock hit 12.

Very nice time. Phat08. www.phatclub.co.nz Biggest DNB festival in the southern hemisphere. Great place to recover too, what with all the fresh air, sunny skies and swimming in the river, hangovers were non existant :)
