숭의운동장 재개발 본격화

인천 남구 숭의운동장 도시재생사업이 본격적인 사업에 들어간다.


22일 인천시도시개발공사에 따르면 도개공은 오는 25일 ‘숭의운동장 도시재생사업’의 민간사업자로 지난해 11월 선정된 현대건설 컨소시엄과 ‘숭의운동장 사업협약 체결식’을 갖는다.


도개공과 현대건설 컨소시엄은 이달말까지 특수목적회사(SPC) 설립을 끝내고 상반기 중으로 보상에 들어갈 방침이다.


이에 따라 오는 10월쯤 주상복합아파트 및 상업시설을 시작으로 축구전용경기장 공사가 진행될 계획이다.


숭의운동장 재생사업을 위한 SPC는 도개공을 중심으로 현대건설, 대우건설, 포스코건설, 농협, 산업은행, 대우자동차판매(지분참여) 등 14개 지역건설업체로 구성된다.


숭의운동장 도시개발사업은 남구 숭의동 일대 9만127㎡의 노후·불량한 숭의운동장의 기능을 재정립하고 주변지역을 도원역과 연계해 주거·상업·업무·체육·문화 등 웰빙 복합단지로 조성하는 사업이다.


이 사업에는 토지비 1천715억원, 공사비 2천585억원, 축구전용경기장 건설비 1천66억원, 수익시설 건설비 539억원 등 총 7천51억원이 투입될 예정이다.


숭의운동장은 9만127㎡로 6만2천200㎡는 축구전용경기장, 2만7천538㎡는 주상복합아파트 및 상업시설 건립부지로 활용된다.


우선적으로 건립되는 주상복합아파트는 3개동 725가구로 건립되고, 상업시설은 패션아웃렛, 멀티플렉스, 대형유통 할인점 등과 대형서점 및 학원 등 교육시설, e-스포츠경기장, 비보이공연장, 미니골프장 등 체육·공연시설 등이 들어선다. 또 식음료, 전시, 집회, 편의점 등 편의 시설 입점이 추진되며 상당수는 업체가 이미 잠정적으로 선정됐다.

I live in Korea. I don't support Incheon United at this time, but I'm tempted to attend every game I can at 숭의. It will be an amazing experience compared to lousy Tancheon in Seongnam.

I SO want to be at the grand opening match next spring. The city and team is pushing for the team to play there even if the other protests and whatnot haven't been taken care of. Supposedly, the team has announced it will absolutely play here next year (Late Feb, Early March).
