january 1st turned out to be really nice - they kept forcasting winds and rain and all that and it was nothing but gorgeous - clear - could see the mountains on the island and mt baker etc. it was a little nippy but not bad at all

it's pretty crazy - lots dress up and most are probably still drunk or trying to get sober
