^^
It's been looking like a building on Alma St, but from the Bolsover St view, it looks like it's been cut in half, I havent been into the city in around a week, so it may o change, doubt it

Actually I was just about to ask about this project - so I guess I'll change status back to approved then? Seem to be quite a few projects lately where demolition takes place but then actual contruction doesn't go ahead. Get us all excited for nothing :) Although I guess it'd usually be different contractors for demolition and construction wouldn't it, so they wouldn't necessarily follow on from each other.

They are also keeping the front half of the Wintergarden theatre and integrating it into the development.

The 1st render looks like it would overtake 1st choice grog shop, will it go that far back?

I have been thinking about that as well. I hope that is takes over 1st Choice, we have enough grog shops here as it is.

a pub on every corner is lots hehe. if they are intergrating the theatre to the development, will we get a cinema in the city, or will it be like the Pilbeam, but smaller?

Noticed the other day whilst visiting 1st Choice Liquor that there is site clearing being carried out... Perhaps this is finally going to go ahead.
