These are all from late 2007, but I figured I'd hold off a little while and get my 2008 photography year started with some new stuff out of the Crescent City. This is my first photo thread in months and it's not as long as my usual stuff, but hope you guys enjoy nonetheless. :okay:

Photos taken in the CBD, French Quarter, Garden District, Uptown, Mid-City, and Lakefront.

Great pics. :okay: Now show the lower 9th ward. ;)

Coming up in my next thread...along with New Orleans East, Gentilly, Lakeview, and many of the hardest hit neighborhoods in the city. Figured I'd start off the year in a good note, showing how the majority of the city is recovering.

And seicer, to this day I have no idea what's "going on" at the top of that tower.

Nice job, Nate. Looking forward to your pics of the Lower 9th Ward, which represents 1/90 of the City of New Orleans. Nevertheless, it is an area that lost much culture in Hurricane Katrina. And I'm glad to see that the Lower 9th, esp. the Holy Cross neighborhood is coming back.

That is the Monteleone Hotel. Those are suites up there, along with a pool, jacuzzi and some palm trees. It does look odd from the street level, but, it doesn't look odd at all once you get up there.

It looks like the parking garage of Canal Place.

Great pictures. I was down there a few weeks ago and loved it. New Orleans seems like it has a ton of neighborhoods that are fun to explore.

Now, hopefully I start putting up my pictures of New Orleans. It taking me long because I took so many - about 200!

I like the Walgreens best. Probably because it makes you realize that Walgreens used to look interesting.

I know...I can't believe Mardi Gras is so early. I'm going to the Krewe du Vieux this Saturday night in the Quarter. WOW...the party begins.
