Permanent Residency and offshore company

Hello,

I need your help on this forum, please don't tell me your personal opinions or anything just give me what I can do for the request that I am going to ask now, please be neutral.

1.Can I buy any house/villa/appartment and have full ownership of it?

2.How can I get permanent residency?

3.Can I bring my my family? (what is defined by family)

4.Can I have an offshore company? what are the laws? (I want to move my company from canada to Qatar, what is demanded)

1. Yes you can buy a villa and/or apartment in designated areas in the nation such as Lusail, the Pearl Qatar, or Al-Khor Development (60 km from Doha to the north). You can get full ownership of these developments.

2. The residency permit is given if you own a villa or apartment in these areas

3. I am not sure, but sure your family can come if you have a residency visa. It is easier to get a visa if u are a resident here.

4. Yes, and Qatar is one of the easiest place to get a licence for commerical purposes. The Qatar Financial Center is a key player in that area. Although its not in my field of expertise, but check out the Qatar Financial Center as it is one of the most easiest places to obtain a commerical license from. Check out their webste :)

Thank you halawala, I would be most grateful if you can give me sources or laws or anything concrete because if it is all concrete info I wouldn't mind to start moving next week!

- Can you give me links to the master plans of the designated areas? (I would be grateful for a location close to the capital)

- the residency permit does it mean I can stay in the villa how long as I want? or is there restriction and I have to renew anything?

- My family does it include my mother and father or brothers or children or what? and can They also stay as long as I want or is there restrictions also?

- Can you help me with the QFC? If I want to open a computer company and sell my products such as desktops,laptops,gadgets,etc. can I sell them In qatar and to other gulf countries?

I see down in similar topics you posted this topic in other countries forums anyway if you are serious just fax the qatari embassy in the country you live in and you will get offical answer.

I did fax them though I like to go in deep with the details this is why im asking, besides you don't really know it but I found this forum most helpful in this topic.
