Not bad, but the effect is a bit heavy, especially out of the water
in the water and on the boat it looks nice though.

Horrendous processing - literary rape of the source material.
I don't want to be nasty, but I have to say it - keep your experimenting private. It is a very necessary step (experimenting) and, don't get me wrong, you should do it and a lot if it. But this is a technical learning... it isn't something you go a present wider public. At least not on such a basic level. Well you may if that would be some thread dedicated to photoshop effects and some such. But it isn't.

I honestly hope you would get totally pissed with me for saying it. It's nothing personal, although it may look like it.

Looks as if everything is just radiating with intense heat, but I do think the effect could be done much better, especially with alot of the buildings, 6/10

(or you could of just kept with the original photo which would of still looked really nice)

with the orginal picture: prolly a 7 or 8
