enkel de laatste 4 zijn van Arras, had een typfoutje gemaakt.

Zie maar dat uw studeren er niet onder lijdt.
Ik heb ook bijzonder veel goesting om een nieuwe serie van Oostenrijk te plaatsen, maar in de 2de week vanaf nu heb ik minstens 2 examens waarvan 1 her, dus 'k ga wel zo veel mogelijk studeren. Want ik ken mezelf, eens ik begonnen ben wil ik blijven voortdoen. 'k Ga het sowieso moeilijk hebben om wat meer van SSC af te blijven.

Leuke foto's (de nachtfoto's vallen natuurlijk ietwat wazig uit zonder statief). Ik mis enkele foto's van het historische Lille en Arras (met het prachtige marktplein). Je had misschien te weinig tijd? Of was moderne architectuur het hoofddoel van de reis? Ben benieuwd naar het vervolg! Heb je heel Frankrijk rondgereisd of enkel het Noorden?

Het centrum van Lille is zeker de moeite waard. En dat van Arras kan ook chique zijn, maar idd tijdsgebrek. De reis was in januari, dus het was heel vroeg donker (zie foto's : rond 19u ...) en we waren laat in Lille aangekomen.
Want daar is ook nog een leuke anekdote aan verbonden, een van mijn reisgezellen was de nacht er voor zijn huis nog leeggeroofd, daarmee dat we ietsje later zijn vetrokken :bash:

En hedendaagse architectuur was niet hét hoofddoel, er komen ook nog veel kathedralen etc ^^ En we hebben heel Frankrijk rondgereisd! Lille, parijs, bordeaux, marseille, lyon... dus er komt nog heel wat! Maar nu eerst ff leren :nuts:

Van Severen was daar vriend aan huis, net zoals Rem zelf.

Ah, ik dacht dat het zijn privé-buitenverblijf was :)

En moogt ge echt zo schaamteloos in het meubilair van de Villa Savoye neerploffen?

Ooit eens het paviljoen van Mies Van Der Rohe in Barcelona bezocht, en daar was altijd wel een bewaker om u weg te jagen als ge te dicht bij de zetels kwam...

Ah, ik dacht dat het zijn privé-buitenverblijf was :)

En moogt ge echt zo schaamteloos in het meubilair van de Villa Savoye neerploffen?

Ooit eens het paviljoen van Mies Van Der Rohe in Barcelona bezocht, en daar was altijd wel een bewaker om u weg te jagen als ge te dicht bij de zetels kwam...

Niemand had ons dat verboden, er liep op dat moment zelfs niemand rond, we hadden zelfs een bad kunnen nemen ^^ Ik neem wel aan dat het daar replica's waren, mss in Barcelona zijn het de echte meubels ?

Spijtig was wel dat we er tegen sluitingstijd waren, dus begonnen ze alles op slot te doen, en hebben we villa savoye op 20minuutjes moeten door vliegen :ohno:

Nog 6 dagen te posten van onze Frankrijk reis, dan kan ik beginnen met de 6600 foto's van Denemarken-Duitsland te selecteren en te posten :banana:

En in Barcelona zijn het inderdaad 'originals'. Het zou mij wel verbazen als het in de Villa Savoye anders zou zijn.

Misschien had ge u moeten verstoppen in een vrij toegankelijke kast tot na de sluiting, en dan had ge effectief een bad kunnen pakken. Of een barbecue kunnen doen op het terras...

Ik heb in 7 maanden Oostenrijk en Duitsland 6 keer zo weinig getrokken ;)

We gaan dan ook niet om ons volledig in te leven in elke stad, wij doen een roadtour zoals je zelf zegt^^

En eigenlijk gaan we in hoofdzaak niet voor de steden zelf, maar voor de projecten in de steden. Wij rijden rond met een lijst van dingen die we willen zien.

Natuurlijk weet ik om een stad te leren kennen, dat je daar vele jaren tijd voor nodig hebt. Wij hebben slechts een sneakpreview zeg maar van elke stad, een kortstondig bezoekje.

Wel ik zeg het, 6 keer zo weinig, maw 'slechts' een 1100-tal :)

Voor volgende keer: "dag 11" : Aix-en-Provence, Valence, Firminy, Lyon

Amai, een boeiend gebouw van Le Corbusier. Van de gangen tot het dak, alles is tot in de puntjes uitgewerkt. Dit vind ik echt wel knap gedaan, hoewel het ondertussen wel duidelijk is dat zijn concept van wonen niet werkt.

Echt arme mensen wonen er precies niet? Niet dat mij dat zou storen, maar dat is toch wel dikwijls het geval in zulke woonblokken.

Het is inderdaad een zéér boeiend gebouw, een van mijn lievelingen ^^ En deels werkt die manier van wonen vandaag nog wel denk ik, een beetje aangepast aan de huidige normen etc moet dat nog wel lukken.

En arme mensen wonen er niet nee, deze unité (in tegenstelling tot de 4 andere) is zo begeerd door kunstenaars, architecten, enzo dat je wel wat moet betalen voor een appartementje (van 100m²) en je staat nog op een hele lange wachtlijst ook...

13 dagen, 4400km en een onvergeetelijke ervaring, die we dit jaar overdeden in Duitsland en Denemarken (daarover meer later!)

En dit slechts voor 450 euro per persoon all in :)

Waar ligt die Kirchberg dan? Ik had alleen nog maar gehoord van een Kirchberg in Oostenrijk.
Verder zag het er heel leuk uit van architectonisch oogpunt :)

Idd het is ook bedoeld als architectuurreis e. Ipv bekende gebouwen enkel van in de boekjes te kennen is het ons doel alle bekende gebouwen, mijlpalen in de geschiedenis bezocht te hebben en zelf kunnen beleven hebben ipv. plaatjes er van bekeken te hebben in een boek.

En Kirchberg is eerder een wijk naast Luxemburgstad, enkel en alleen met banken en kantoren. Gene vette om te bezoeken dus ^^
