I generally dislike the situations when technique becomes the point in itself. And with HDRs the temptation is just way to strong for vast majority of the users to resist it... It kills everything else. I loved your shot of SaoPaolo that you had here few weeks back. There it (HDR) served it artistic point and didn't overpower like here of in case of some TV station shot...
