The map above is simply amazing christos-greece. it's extremely detailed. The only problem I see is the misrepresentation of the size of cities. Limassol looks bigger than Nicosia and Paphos than Larnaca which is not true!

i think this is bc the suburbs are not counted as part of the cities in this map.

in this case limassol should be bigger than nicosia as more people live in limassols city center compared to nicosias

θυμάμαι είχα προσπαθήσει παλαιότερα αλλά δεν είχα χάρτη και έγραφα ότι μαλακίες θυμόμουνα..

Επίσης η μαλακο google είχε σύννεφο πάνω απο ορισμένα χωριά που ήξερα τους δρόμους και δε μπορούσα να βάλω Τπτ..

Έστειλα τους παράπονο μέσω E-mail αλλά δεν μου απάντησαν ΚΑΝ!!

Will UK army ever leave Cyprus?

^^ Probably not my friend. Thieves have a hard time letting go off their loot!

It is strange that both countries are part of EU and UK still holds occupied part of island and has military bases there.

When Cypriots fought against the British Empire and defeated it the British were able to keep these two bases in exchange for our Independence which was not considered as much land and a favourable exchange for our independence. In addition the UK, Turkey and Greece became the defenders of Cypriot Independence. The UK got two large bases are the former colonial power and Greece and Turkey kept small numbers of troops as well.

Nowadays I want the bases out of Cyprus along with troops of any kind. We still retain some indirect victories concerning the bases, one being that their official languages are both Greek and English and they have been using the Euro since we joined the Eurozone.

Currently in the new negotiations for the solution of the Cyprus Problem we want to abolish the Guarantee of Independency since we are in the EU. The bases are bound to shrink in size with a solution to the Cyprus problem or be abolished completely. Something that will happen sooner or later.

Also Cyprus Gov . knows that British Millitary base is a ''good'' way to fish tourist from the British tourist marked.\ so they take advantage of that also.
