This picture was taken about a hour after sunset, the sky was dark, the moon was out and all of Metro Toronto had it's lights on! The orange is the lights from Metro Toronto, and the black and blue sky is from the moon over a large "lightless" body of water. Also if you look in to the horizon you can see the skyline of downtown Toronto. This picture was taken in Oakville, Halton Region, Ontario (about 40KM from Toronto.

I don't think this is urban despite it is taken close to Toronto.
For example: I took this pic (http://img66.imageshack.us/img66/8463/24xb8.jpg) in the heart of London. But is that urban? I don't think so. :)

if you pay attention and look at the photo you can see...TORONTO
note: the city is like 3 million and the metro is like I dunno 30 million or something.
The sky is lit from the massive number of lights the metro illuminates.

Let's not get to technical folks.. no need to attack BuffCity over population figures.. I know that most of you were smart enough to decifer BuffCity's point, rather than just look at population figures..
and for the recored, the GGH is around 8.1 million from Oshawa in the east, Barrie in the north, Hamilton in the West, and Niagara Falls in the south... no matter what way you look at it.. its a massive urban area.. and yes you can see the skyline of Toronto..

I think you hit the nail on the head.. people who vote on photo's dont always look at the photo, rather the user, avatar and location listed.. i guess Toronto is not in Europe so i shoud not expect a good vote.
