^^ You can also see in that picture that the old lighthouse is getting renovated.

^^ Do you think they are dismantling it? It has no purpose now that it has been replaced. It would be cool if they converted it into a restaurant or something.

^^ No, it's just getting a new paint job and some renovations. You're right it has no real purpose other than being a symbol, but I think being a symbol is a good purpose after all...And I doubt it will serve as a good restaurant, because its access is not that clear. (I had to ask for directions to get to it, although I know it very well).

Hope they reonovate it into a landmark -open for visitors. perhaps even open a restaurant on the top floor!
