Hello guys . I've seen the abandoned ANA Hotel at Orchard there . Doesn't anyone has pictures of it in its maiden days? And what happened to that hotel? Why was it being demolished?

I went to the site to take a look and found out that demolition works should have ended on 31 Dec 2007 . But now the building still stands . However there is one MAJOR problem: it's right in front of a small military camp! Actually when I got out my zoom a guard opened the door of the camp and told me from another side of the road I was not allowed to take pictures! Apparently it is on the market again and the game now is slightly different than it was when the condo project was designed :-) Maverick713 January 28th, 2008, 04:22 AM What army camp? :eek: I think he might be referring to the former Tanglin Police Station just next to the Tanglin Post Office. I can see that it is now an access-restricted and fortified building with tall barbed wire lined fences. I was told by postal workers next door that the former police station building is now used for police operations.
