Has this happened to somebody else?
What do you all think of this?

Last month I went to the Target at the Dale Mabry – I 275 intersection to pick up some stuff after I had a job interview – needless to say I was dressed to the nines in suit and tie. So this woman comes up to me makes compliments about how I looked saying that I appear to be a personable guy and after a couple minutes she gave me her card and I ended up giving here my number.
I had lost her card and was very surprised when I got a call from her Monday (1-21-08), she asked about my job search and if I was still looking for a job, I ended up agreeing to meet her at the Barns and Nobles on Dale Mabry this afternoon.
What happened there was very strange and screamed SCAM big time: she presented this brochure about how ICOMMERCE is cutting out middleman and its employees, which she referred to as SBOs
( single business owners) make tons of money finding more and more prospects. I kept asking her what the actual job description is, what would my duties be if I do this? She never answered my questions, she just kept referring to the brochure, which I didn't get to keep.
After about 10 minutes she said that if I am interested I would have to go to this workshop on Thursday ( 1-24-08) at the Holiday Inn on Rocky Point Drive, there I could register for $ 200 and then start making the big money. Needless to say I did not go.

Has anybody else has this happened???
What goes on at these workshops?
What really is this all about?
Any ideas, comments?

If you ever have to pay something to earn the 'right' to make something back, it's a scam.

btw, welcome to the forum. Hope you enjoy your time here... Any questions, just ask!
