Radisson SAS Plaza Hotel is the tallest high-rise building in Norway and the tallest hotel in Scandinavia. When completed it was the second tallest in Scandinavia, but have been passed by the 130m tall Kista Science center in Stockholm, Sweden. Radisson SAS Plaza Hotel is also known as Oslo Plaza, and is the most important hotel in Norway.

Nice,i like that the elevators are outside of the building,and it also has a nice design + a shiny facade.

117m, the nabour building to the south is Norways second tallest and is 111m, the buildings is named Posthuset and was built in the 70s, then a 73m tall commieblock with a brown facade. Betveen 2001-2003 the building was reconstructed and is today taller and nicer. :cheers: , but still it could be even nicer. :)

I´ve said it before and I´ll say it again... I LUVIT!
The shiny glass facade, the slim and cool design and it is infact very tall to be a nordic tower!

I'll be biased and vote 10 :D

6.5 the glass facade is nice but the surrounding is not so nice , skyscrapers should be build togheter with a cluster of other skyscrapers if it stands alone between lowrise buildings it doesnt look very nice

I love the shiny reflective facade, and the slanted top. It's a bit wide and bulky from some angles though ... I much prefer the side-on view, which makes it appear sleeker.

Well, this is Norway -- such clusters in city downtown areas are hard to build, in fact it's a miracle they somehow managed to build those two in the first place. :) Besides, there are few shorter high-rises being plananed in the nearby seaside area, so it should balance the skyline a bit.

Oslo's Radisson Plaza is a classy buidling that gets it right. It's simple, but elegant.

The building not only has the (maybe a little sad?) record of height, but imo is one of the nicest buildings in Oslo alltoghether. I still believe we can do better, though.

But: Whoever managed to cut the red tape on getting this approved does Jesus and his water walking trick one over. So hallelujah! The savour IS here! (somwhere). And for that reason alone I give it a 10/10.

wow!!! that scraper brings me back so many memories.
I was up there on top of it, I nearly remembered. I was so amazed for the easyness to access the hotel and climb up with no question on the way, no one stopped us floor. There is (or there used to be) a cafe and a big lounge with sofas right below the inclined part. I was on Erasmus in Oslo and a residence friend took us there. I took my camera with me but...Ohh it was so cloudy there weren't any good views at all.

I've stayed here a few times, I give it 7.5, with bigger rooms the marks would increase, the rooms, they are tiny, I was told it was originally not built as a Radisson hence the small rooms, it's also in need of a interior refit.
