Veteran's Bank has an offsite too in Libertad at ANECO building....while Bank of Commerce has 2 offsites at Butuan Doctor's and FSUU Gym
BOB-bXu December 12th, 2009, 02:56 AM Hala, you mean years na ka wala naka-uli? Where are you based sir, if you don't mind?
Yup, SAMPING 2 Building is located near Gaisano Mall. Na sandwich siya between anang mga naa sa corner nga commercial stalls ni Raniel & the furniture shop. The furniture shop & wise dev are still there as well.
How about this new restaurant ( See picture below), have you seen this already the last time you came home?

the only restaurant in the region that offers HongKong style dining with its Shabu-Shabu Hot pot^^
BOB-bXu December 12th, 2009, 03:02 AM cguro smooth na ang pag-agi, pero ang integrity sa structure medyo questionably na sya...
the bridge was built by Japanese engineers (Towa Construction) with parts also from Japan (Nippon Steel)....its super structure was not subcontracted to a Pinoy firm...it used the steel pile driven technology...
and importantly the city was hit by an intensity 4.9 earthquake last month....
and this world class beautiful bridge is still standing proud as of this writing..
so what's the question? :)

jpb points out a flaw in pier # 10 which was corrected one year after the bridge completion. rest assured that the problem has already been resolved jpb. :)
regjeex December 12th, 2009, 05:39 AM Actually back in high school, i was 2nd year at that time, during our flag ceremony, I think Dr. Paulma mentioned that NORMISIST is applied for a university and it'll be a UP BXU campus. Then when i was in 3rd year somebody mentioned that again NORMISIST applied to be the first NEMSU-NOrthEstern Mindanao State University and then later it changed to CSPU-Caraga State Polytechnic University. And now, here we go CSU rules.. hehehe The 1st State University in Caraga....:)
Finally a reality....this plan was conceptualized for almost 2 decades already..starting with a plan of converting NORMISIST into a UP Mindanao Campus....but was hit by several snags approximately 12 years ago due to its accreditation and the usual geo politicking.
Then came the plan of establishing a CARAGA State University System with other state colleges in the region like in Surigao City, Cabadbaran and the NORMISIST in Butuan...But again it was hit by a snag as the Surigao part proposed exclusion to form a separate bid for a state university conversion..
The snag drag on as the bill filed in congress and transmitted to upper house needs revisions.
Then after revision came the accreditation levels...Subsequently, teams from CHED, and other regulatory bodies came and made several assesments.
Then after many years (almost 2 decades) finally....NORMISIST...on December 14, 2009 will break ground as the regions only and first state university as the CARAGA STATE UNIVERSITY ^^
regjeex December 12th, 2009, 05:56 AM wow... very nice... ing ana unta ang sa BXU... sus pastilan.. pero maayo nalang kay sa wala...

On technical point of view, I can attest to the structural integrity of the whole structure of the bridge since pier # 10 is only one of the 12 supporting pier of the entire length of the bridge. i would very much like to discuss the cause and effect of the construction flaw in pier # 10 but :ohno::ohno::ohno: I can do it only in personal verbal communication. hehehe I would like to invite you on the EB this coming January so that we can discuss it in details over a cup of brewed coffee jpb :cheers::cheers:

Ms. Susan “Toots” Ople, senatoriable of the Nacionalista Party discusses issues and concerns on the OFWs in a press conference with the local tri-media, held recently in one of the local convention centers in Butuan City. According to Ms. Ople, no matter how hard we inform and warn the public not to transact with illegal recruiters, still they will negotiate with them due to financial constraints. To avoid future problems from their employers abroad, people who wish to work abroad should follow legal processes with the help of OWWA, DOLE, and DFA. (PIA-Caraga)

regjeex December 13th, 2009, 06:00 AM Madam Daisy Files Candidacy for Mayor
Determined to serve the people of Butuan and sustain the projects and programs of the administration of her better-half, the incumbent multi-awarded City Mayor Democrito D. Plaza II, Madam Daisy B. Plaza officially filed her cerificate of candidacy for City Mayor at the City COMELEC office last November 28, 2009, under the Lakas-KAMPI ticket, for the May 10, 2010 local election.
Ms. Plaza was accompanied by reelectionist Vice Mayor Dino Claudio Sanchez together with reelectionist city councilors Randolph Plaza, Atty. Audie Bernabe, Atty. Josephine Marticion-Salise, Raul Amoc, Raul Carampatana and Atty. Lope Bunol.
Completing the line-up are Atty. Toto Rabor, Renato Guevarra, Danilo Sabijon and Alan Padla. Rep. Jose "Joboy" Aquino II of the district of Butuan City and Las Nieves has also filed his reelection bid.
M'am Daisy was elected before as City Mayor from 2001 to 2004. Inspite of being a neophyte then in local politics, she was able to deliver amidst the noise created by a radio outlet and their cohorts during the early part of her incumbency. Presently, she is the chairman of the Butuan City Tourism Council, and also a member of the board of directors of the Philippine National Oil Corporation (PNOC).
During Ms. Plaza's term, the multi-million peso Butuan Medical Center, a tertiary hospital, was inaugurated serving the people of Butuan and its neighbouring provinces with quality health care.
The City Housing and Development Office headed by Engr. Lorden Vismanos which provides low cost housing to the homeless and livelihood program for sustainability, was created also under her term

regjeex December 13th, 2009, 04:23 PM 46 Agusan hostages freed
AGUSAN DEL SUR, Philippines – (UPDATE 3) After two hours of negotiations deep in the forest of San Martin, the 46 remaining villagers held captive by armed members of a tribe were released at 4:45 p.m. Sunday after four days of captivity.
Vice Governor Santiago Cane said the kidnappers led by Ondo Perez agreed to free the captives after their demands were met. Perez also committed to return the fold of law.
“An agreement was reached between the group of Ondo Perez and the negotiating team today that hostages will be released at 3pm,” Senior Superintendent Nestor Fajura, chief of operations of Caraga police told INQUIRER.net. He said the hostages were fetched from the site at around 5pm.
Fajura declined to provide further details on the release. A press conference will be held in the area later today, he said.
“Ako’y nabunutan ng tinik. (It was as if a thorn was removed from my heart.) We did not like how the media pictured our province. We can really say that peace reigns in Agusan del Sur. What happened here was an isolated incident,” said Cane.
The actual release came an hour after the gunmen, who were once deputized by the government in the fight against communist insurgents, agreed to free their captives on Sunday afternoon.
A negotiator then said that Perez, leader of the tribal gunmen, agreed to release the victims after government negotiators agreed to work on the dropping of murder charges against Perez and refer the issues he raised to the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP).
Perez had a meeting with Jun Tubay, who had accused him of killing the latter’s son and three relatives in February.
But Perez said he was puzzled why he was the only one being arrested when Tubay also killed 21 of his relatives in 2008.
The violence between Perez and Tubay’s group stemmed from a land border dispute. Since it erupted, more than 30 people had been killed on both sides, authorities said.
Both men belonged to the Lumadnong Pakigbisog sa Karaga (Lupaka), an organization of former communist rebels, which the military tapped in its counter insurgency drive in the region. Lupaka was formally disbanded in 2001 but most of its members retained their firearms.
jpb_1972 December 14th, 2009, 04:59 AM URIANS, dili FSUUan....
c power168 i think is FSUUan....
jpb_1972 December 14th, 2009, 05:16 AM ako im for Noynoy...... for simple reason. simply nga tao mao ra.
daghan na ang giingon nga capable mahimong presidente kay bright daku na experience and so many things nga maayo in favor sa ila pero unsa ang nahitabo..
para sa ako ang angayan himoon nga mamahimo natong presidente puhon mao ang tawo nga simply ug dili hakog sa kwarta ug power. noynoy's family bisan tuod nahimo presidente iya mother and have all the opporutnity nga musamot pag ka kwartahan wala nila gamita ilang position para maka kwarta in short wala nagngurakot.... but look at other politicos, dili nalang ko mag mention ug ngalan, kadali ra nahimong congressman pero billionaryo na dayon.
pahungaw lang ko regs ha......
na for some reasons... dili nalang nako i mention kay murag obvious naman gud kaayo... He's nothing to me... He's not capable to run the higher office. I would prefer Gordon if wala sa Gibo... and then vice.. i would love Loren Legarda....

Franz-Bxu December 15th, 2009, 05:32 AM Taiwanese investments in RP may double to $226M next year
TAIPEI — Taiwanese investments in the Philippines are expected to double to $226 million next year, the Manila Economic and Cultural Office (MECO) said.
Dita Angara Mathay, MECO director of commercial affairs, told visiting Filipino journalists here $113 million in investments this year represent over 100 percent hike last year.
About half of the projected 2010 investments may come from the energy sector, MECO said.
A major Taiwanese energy company may set up power plants in the Visayas and Mindanao, and another company may engage in a biodiesel venture.
The Philippine government is also trying to lure a group of information technology investors who are keen on locating to Vietman.
Taiwanese investments for 2009 included the $60-million electric furnace of Ancku Tachung in Batangas; $40 million from TECO Electric & Machinery Co., Ltd; and the $5-million mining venture of China Bond International, Ltd in Aparri, Cagayan.
Tian Yuan Co. Ltd and Li Chien Wood Co. also embarked on a plywood business in Butuan, Mindanao while Golden Farm Co. and Nichi Nichi Food produced organic asparagus and fish liver oil, respectively. — GMANews.TV

Franz-Bxu December 15th, 2009, 05:44 AM RP sees doubling of Taiwan
investments in 2010
The Philippines is targeting to double the investments from Taiwan in 2010 from $113 million this year with the entry of power projects, according to Dita Angara-Mathay, director of commercial affairs of MECO.
Mathay said half of the investments would be from power as Taiwan’s major power producer, Formosa Group is thinking of other projects in Visayas and Mindanao. The group is now undergoing due diligence.
Mathay said biodiesel projects are in the pipeline while some big-ticket investments which are being postponed in Vietnam are being redirected to Philippines, particularly in the ICT sectors.
The Philippines has attracted at least $113 million (over P5 billion) worth of investments in 2009 from Taiwan.
Mathay said these are both actual and committed.
This value is more than double than the $45.7 million than those registered in 2008.
This year’s e investments are led by a $60-million project by Ancku-Taichung Corp. for an electric arc furnace in Mabini, Batangas.
Mathay said this represents just the initial project and the next step is for the company to invest another $100 million for the construction of a blast furnace, normally used in steel manufacturing.
Mathay said major power firm TECO Electric & Machinery Co. Ltd is joining the consortium of Stradcom Co. and Allcard Co, in a $40-million project of the SSS Unified Multipurpose Identification Card (UMID) a $60 million. The firm would put in equity and provide the technology.
Empyrean International Techno Devices Co. Ltd., will invest $6 million for the manufacture of GPS (global positioning systems) products.
China Bond International Co. will invest $5 million in Appari, Cagayan for mining iron ore while Golden Farm Co. Ltd. is investing $1 million in 10-hectsre managed farm for organic asparagus in Batangas.
Shyi Chien Co. Ltd. will invest $2 million for coal mining in Patag, Gubat, Sorsogon.
Two are into plywood production both in Butuan, Li Chien Wood Co. which is investing $1 million and Tian Yuan Co. Ltd., $2 million.
Nichi Nichi Food is putting in fish liver oil production worth $500,000 in Manila.
Mathay said in 2010, instead of general trade and investment promotions, MECO would shift strategy to one that is focused and sector-specific.
Sectors to be promoted include aquaculture for inshore (fresh water and brackish waters) and offshore, agriculture ( organic vegetables and fruits, animal husbandry and blooms) Information and communication technology (ICT) such as chip design and other higher value processes and tie-ups with fab-less companies or "design" companies using the Philippines as test development center as well as software development.
Mathay said MECO eyes co-development in ICT where both the Philippines and Taiwan can exchange components for the markets they both serve.
This year’s 2009 Joint Economic Council meeting in February, Taiwan and the Philippines signed four major agreements: one is between value service providers Intercommerce and Tradevan for the common infrastructure exchange of electronic documents in Subic and Taiwan economic zones; between the Industrial Technology Research Institute and the Semiconductor and Electronics Institute of the Philippines Inc. for technical information exchange to promote industrial development; food and; standardization and conformity for electrical products.

RP sees doubling of Taiwan
investments in 2010
The Philippines is targeting to double the investments from Taiwan in 2010 from $113 million this year with the entry of power projects, according to Dita Angara-Mathay, director of commercial affairs of MECO.
The firm would put in equity and provide the technology.

yes, If I am not mistaken approximately 900 Million Php...for which various self liquidating projects with a bigger ROI (Return of Investments) like the South Bus Terminal and South Market in Villa Kanangga and The Butuan Historical Park and River Boardwalk..these together with construction of urban roads like four lane Langihan Road with concrete sidewalk...and Maguinda Road, just to name a few...
I believed that projects with a lower impact and ROI like the Butuan Astrodome was not in the priority list.
The loan was applied in 2007 granted and approved by PNB early this year.
Taking cue on the city's financial standing and ability to pay debts is one of the bases of PNB's granting of the loan to the LGU of Butuan.
On the other positive developments, the city has approved its 2010 budget of 1.012 Billion Php.
regjeex December 15th, 2009, 11:07 AM speaking of this Jabee 3rd branch, i know possible location is at near the shrine, there's the PNP regional camp, Provincial Hospital, Marjeds, Sto Shrine.. tapos near the regional GSIS, Regional Trial Court... so im sure diha nila i tukod ang 3rd branch. How about kung mag materialize na ang RobBXU? so another branch na naman of course... I hope brgy Ampayon will have jabee, mcdo, chowking soon... considering its near Urios, CSU, St Peter College, Hospital....
regjeex December 15th, 2009, 11:11 AM yeah i agree with you Bob.. that the proposed astrodome/coliseum will not be included in the priority list... they're gonna focus i guess with this modern south bus terminal and modern supermarket and i guess including the SP Building and my favorite the boardwalk....

Wala japon ang boardwalk reg. Sukad pa atong pag-abot sa balangay team, wa pa masugdi bisag 0.1% lang.
Pero if mahimo ug mayor si Daisy Plaza, I'm sure she'll prioritize the tourism industry since she's the incumbent tourism chief.

Good choice as to those locations in Libertad aron naa'y competitor ang Narra Restaurant ug Chooks. As for the FSUU HS and GS students at the Morelos Campus, residents, and employees based in Libertad, there is no need to go to Jollibee Gaisano or Jollibee Centro... kumbaga hayahay na sila. Mosamot nasad ang kabibo sa Libertad. Unya kung pista sa Libertad, no need na ang mamista kay naa na ang Jollibee.

yes, projects that are income generating in the shortest of terms.. because we have seen in various other LGUs, they have well manicured coliseums though, yet they too are loaned..yet they are not bringing in much money to LGU coffers as expected. Take a look at Lanao del Norte's Sports and Civic Center, also built through a loan applied by the LGU of Lanao del Norte...it was used in the past for Mindanao Sports, look at it now and how figuratively the place has gathered dust in its occassional to seldom use? or perhaps look at Agusan del Sur's Sports Complex, nice to see, nice to touch..also loaned by LGU of Agusan del Sur....yet look how little revenues it brought to the LGU...virtually its pools has become a fishpond!
as consistent as in the past, Butuan City prioritizes Roads Roads Roads, more with Rural than Urban as there are more rural barangays than urban settlers...market market.... schools schools.. It is easy to criticize because you dont usually see them in the city center...but look at the rural baranngays especially the western and southern sides..there.. where your taxes go :)

economy is a macro scale reg..just as poverty is NOT just within the confines of the city..therefore these should not be merely addressed by piecemeal myopic approach...
and progress does NOT lie solely on the leaders....NO matter how new.. no mater how frequent we change our leaders ...as long as they do not bring within them the reforms....stilll you end up practically the same.
as what Dick Gordon said, the Philippines should strive to achieve " a change IN men...and not merely OF men..
you may have a new leader with a new surname in the hall of power....but as long as people remained the same...always looking on the self instead of the greater country...still we end up the same miserable beings we are just as now...
regjeex December 15th, 2009, 01:59 PM i agree with you Bob... LGU of BXU has been really smart to prioritize those very important projects... kay mag unsa bitaw ng grandiest sports facilities tapos wala kaayo gamit... so walay income nga mahitabo.... Tama lang ang gibuhat sa BXU just to insure the infra becuase sooner or later mag boost ang economy sa BXU...

yes, If I am not mistaken approximately 900 Million Php...for which various self liquidating projects with a bigger ROI (Return of Investments) like the South Bus Terminal and South Market in Villa Kanangga and The Butuan Historical Park and River Boardwalk..these together with construction of urban roads like four lane Langihan Road with concrete sidewalk...and Maguinda Road, just to name a few...
On the other positive developments, the city has approved its 2010 budget of 1.012 Billion Php.

regjeex December 16th, 2009, 05:55 AM CEIT Dean leads 4th Quarter IECEP Caraga Convention
Engr. Alexander T. Demetillo, OIC Dean of the College of Engineering and Information Technology (CEIT) in NORMISIST spearheaded the Institute of Electronics Engineers of the Philippines, Inc. (IECEP) Caraga Chapter’s 4th Quarter Convention at Almont Inland Resort and Hotel Convention Center on November 24, 2009.
The one-day convention aimed to update the Electronics Engineers (ECEs) and Technicians (ECTs) from the academe and in the telecom and electronics industry from the Caraga Region on the progress and development of the EE and the ECE profession. Technical Seminars in Electronics Engineering, ECT’s oath-taking ceremony and Professional Electronics Engineer (PECE) Interview were the highlights of the convention.
NORMISIST has been supportive of the IECEP Caraga Chapter since the chapter was re-organized in 2007 through the school’s ECE faculty members of the CEIT.
Engr. Romulo R. Agatep, the National President of IECEP based in Manila was present in the occasion to support the activities in the region. He provided the participants an update on Republic Act 9292 which is the Electronics Engineering Law of 2004. He also defined the activities associated with the law that he wished to be implemented in the City and in the Region.
The event was graced by Engr. Sylvia I. Marcelo, the Chairman of the Board of Electronics Engineering of the Professional Regulations Commission (PRC) who came all the way from Manila with Engr. Agatep just to be with the Officers and members of IECEP Caraga. Engr. Marcelo interviewed some Electronics Engineers for the latter’s conversion to Professional Electronics Engineers (PECEs) in Caraga. Engr. Marcelo also delivered her talk on “Board Exam in ECE, Awareness and Tips” during the 1st Caraga-wide JIECEP Congress to provide students ideas with regards to the ECE Licensure Examinations. The first JIECEP Congress was also held in NORMISIST last November 25, 2009 in the Sanchez Gymnasium.
Engr. Demetillo is also the present Governor of IECEP Caraga Chapter for 2009. During the conference, he was joined by Engr. Jerry B. Halibas, the ECE Program Coordinator; Engr. Jerween Ajero and Engr. Jeffrey T. Dellosa, faculty members from CEIT of NORMISIST.
regjeex December 16th, 2009, 06:17 AM Caraga Regional Development Agenda 2010-2020
Caraga Administrative Region or Region XIII is typical of the paradox of poverty amidst bounty. Blessed with abundant natural resources and endowed with an extensive coast of enthralling beauty and biodiversity, the Region has attracted exploitative industries that stripped Caraga of its resources without plowing back the benefits of production to the local economy. For decades, the Region has supplied the rest of the country and even the world with raw materials that propelled their economies towards industrialization and rapid urbanization. Being a mere supplier of raw materials, Caraga has been left at the bottom rank of the development ladder, with its people barely receiving a share from the extracting industries they have enriched. Caraga today is still a resource-rich region mired in poverty.
regjeex December 16th, 2009, 06:19 AM Gonzales: We have to Plan our Cities
Climate change is already upon us. There are new dangers that need to be understood. The catastrophic experience in Manila tells us that we need to plan our cities,” said National Security Adviser and Secretary of the National Defense Norberto B. Gonzales during the culmination of the 2009 Mindanao Week of Peace (MWOP) on December 2, 2009 at Dottie’s Place, Butuan City.
“The role of the Caraga Conference for Peace and Development (CCPD) is not only to help combat rebels, but also to be on top of informing the people in this part of the country of the new dangers faced by our nation,” he added.
The CCPD led the celebration of this year’s MWOP in the region with various activities conducted under the theme “Enhancing Linkages and Capabilities of Local Communities towards Genuine Peace and Development.”
During his speech, Secretary Gonzales emphasized the contribution of the CCPD, now on its third year, in the attainment of enduring peace in the region, specifically on its support to the projects of the government in rebel-infested areas in Caraga Region.
About 1,000 participants attended the culmination program representing different sectors such as the fisherfolks, farmers, labor, elderly, youth, women, senior citizens, academe, police and army, local government units (LGUs) and national government agencies (NGAs).
Mayor Democrito D. Plaza of Butuan City welcomed the participants after the con-celebrated mass with Most Rev. Juan de Dios M. Pueblos, Bishop, Diocese of Butuan City as the main celebrant. The Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, Gen. Victor S. Ibrado, gave his message of peace. While, both the police and army provided briefings on the peace and order situation of the region. The Children’s Joy Foundation ensemble rendered songs of peace and Christmas carol, setting a solemn mood while bringing the audience in awe of their great singing and stage performance.
Also gracing the occasion were Gov. Maria Valentina G. Plaza of Agusan del Sur, former Governor Valentina G. Plaza, Usec. Milo Ibrado of the National Security Council and Commissioner Felicito L. Masagnay of the National Commission for Indigenous Peoples – Central Office.

long term and medium term benefits will be reaped once these projects are realized.. as long as Councilor Dano et al will fiscalize rather than just criticize (on these plans)....these projects will bring further progress to the city by making sure the money or budget will go to where they are intended.

PGMA orders fast tracking of ground works of P187.76-M Iligan-Cagayan-Butuan access road (http://www.pna.gov.ph/index.php?idn=0&nid=2&rid=247495)
Dec. 15 (PNA) -– President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo on Monday inspected the progress of ground works of the P187.76-million access road that connects the Northern and Northeastern Mindanao regions.
The Chief Executive made her personal inspection as she also instructed the officials and field engineers of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) to fast track the ground works and hit the target timeline before she steps down in June 2010.
“The access road is very vital for continuous economic activities in this region and I want you (DPWH) to finish this in our target date,” said President Arroyo, who was impressed with the accomplishment of the four-lane access road.
The P187.76-million access road will connect to the Iligan (Lanao del Norte)-Cagayan de Oro City (Misamis Oriental)-Butuan City (Agusan del Norte) national highway.
In her swing in Northern Mindanao on Monday, President Arroyo also checked on the progress of the ongoing construction of the Laguindingan International Airport in Laguindingan, Misamis Oriental.
The Chief Executive, together with Misamis Oriental Governor Oscar Moreno and other local officials, walked through the Laguindingan International Airport terminal building which is still under construction. She then inspected the runway.
The Laguindingan International Airport sits on a 4.17- square kilometer site in Barangay Moog, Laguindingan 1 and is located 46 kilometers from the existing Lumbia Airport in Cagayan de Oro City.
Upon its completion, it will be the fourth international airport in Mindanao, after the Francisco Bangoy International Airport in Davao City, Zamboanga International Airport in Zamboanga City, and General Santos International Airport.
When completed, it will also be the first international airport in Northern Mindanao (Region 10).
The target completion of the said new airport will be on 2011. The project ground works of the said airport is now 54 percent accomplished.
It can be recalled that Mrs. Arroyo broke ground on the project on January 11, 2006. The runway of the airport as well as the apron could be completed by April 2010, before her term ends.
The civil works are being done by the Korean contractor Hanjin Heavy Industries and Construction Co.
Meanwhile, President Arroyo on Monday also inaugurated the 1.9–kilometer farm-to-market road (FMR) also of that same town, which represented the 17,000th kilometer of such farm-to market roads constructed so far by her administration.
Accompanied by Laguindingan Mayor Oliver Ubaub, Misamis Oriental Governor Oscar Moreno and Agriculture Secretary Arthur Yap, Mrs. Arroyo led the inaugural drive-through of the Poblacion-Gasi-Liberty-San Isidro farm-to-market road.
The project will directly benefit more than 2,000 households of the four barangays of that town with farms planted to 600 hectares bananas, 177 hectares mango, 210 hectares coconut and 360 hectares corn. (PNA)

They have also decent dining inns HOME MAKERS CAFE & Station 5 DINERS within the shell compound. All big 3 oil companies has their gas stations (Caltex, Petron & Shell). Also religious place of worship (Catholic, INC & MORMONS). Also several water re-filling plant (CLYDENS, ALU, FOUNT ROYALE & NATURES FLOW). There's also the GREENBANK AMPAYON branch...:D
...and who knows, Ampayon will be SM's future site as well...hehehe...
Bitaw,I have something to share guys, but first, let me ask anyone here: who owns that huge property in Ampayon somewhere in that area atbang sa new Shell Station? I think before man siguro sa Normisists? I can't really be sure of the exact area. But anyway, a cousin of mine had a meeting with Ferdinand Amante a few weeks back & he learned that "Ferdie" himself went to Manila diay para i-offer sa SM kana nga property. Ang iya lang, should SM decides to put up a Mall in Butuan, naay property nga available for an ideal location, if ever.
If we think about it, dili pa gyud siguro mag butang ug SM sa Butuan di ba? But after what Ferdinand Amante did basi diay maenganyo, who knows? Dapat man gyud agressive pud ta to invite investors, di ba?
