National Students Championship sa Butuan City



Plantsado na ang pag-arangkada ng 63rd National Students Basketball Championships sa Butuan City sa lalawigan ng Agusan Del Norte mula Feb. 23-March 2.


Ang final approval sa venue ng palaro ay naidulog na umano sa BAP-SBP.


Noong nakaraang taon sa Cebu City, iniuwi ng Southwestern University ang national collegiate crown nang daigin ang mahigpit na karibal na University of the Visayas.


Ang annual competitions ay inorganisa ng Basketball Association of the Philippines sa pakikipagtulungan ng Federation of School Sports Association of the Philippines na pinamumunuan ni Dr. Godofredo Gallega ng Technological University of the Philippines.


Sinungkit naman ng Benedictine International School-QC ni coach Beaujing Acot ang national se*condary title nang biktimahin ang Pilgrim Christian College (Cagayan de Oro City).


Dahil sa pagkakampeon ay ipinadala ang SWU at BIS sa China para maglaro ng goodwill games sa Fujian province. Nakakuha rin ng slots ang SWU at UV sa 6th Asian University Basketball Championship na ginanap sa Cebu noong July pero natalo ang UV sa Jua Quiao University ng China sa AUBC crown.


Ang top two teams sa national collegiate championships ngayong taon ay maglalaro sa 7th AUBC sa Manila sa July, inorganisa ng Asian University Basketball Federation na pinamumunuan ng maalamat na si Shin Dong Pa ng Korea.

Im not sure if they refered about year 2008 or 2009. Wala nag mention kung ang AACCUP level III was already done or what not. I have will to my contact in NORMISIST of whats really going on. I hope by this time, they will qualify na sila.

What year ka ba nag college? hehehe dili pa sila kaayo nag expand for that particular course. Pero since then very high standard ang NORMISIST kay even highschool at my time pa is same level sa college.. 75% ang passing grade... so as to mentioned AgEng na daghan nangabagsak sa ila kay grabe ang quality of instructions. I think nag expand na sila but i have to find out muna para naa ta source. Ready na kaayo ang NORMISIST mahimong university oi nag kataon lang man gud na naabtan sila sa new policy if Im not mistaken na very lucky ang FSUU na wala sila niagi sa new policy. NORMISIST has 254 hectares FYI. kapoy cge baktas every day kay layo ang mga classrooms...

Too my surpirse, nag trumpet na sad sila just like the sinulog. and the women holding the senyor are now smiling. they are more beautiful!. Very nice.

PVMA holds 1st regional convention, scientific confab

Butuan City (19 January) -- As an offshoot for the upcoming national conference next month in Davao City, the Philippine Veterinary Medical Association (PVMA) Caraga Chapter conducted its 1st Regional Convention and Scientific Conference held at Almont Inland Resort this city last January 14-15, 2009.

The two day conference was attended by almost all veterinarians in the region working both in private and government institutions with the theme "The Veterinarian: Meeting the Challenges on the New and Re-emerging Diseases."

Mayor Democrito Plaza II as keynote speaker through his representative Vice Mayor Claudio Sanchez expressed his sincerest gratitude to PVMA Caraga Chapter for choosing Butuan City as venue of the convention.

He likewise highly recognized the potential of the veterinarians in the region to be the primary institution in solving the issues and problems that the livestock industry is facing today.

On the first day of the conference, participants were bombarded with different topics discussed by well chosen and knowledgeable resources persons started with Dr. Luz Simborio, a professor of Central Mindanao University (CMU) College of Veterinary Medicine in Bukidnon who tackled about veterinary ethics.

She said that the guiding principle for each veterinarian should always consider the health, welfare and humane treatment of animals and maintain good communication and relationship with peers and clients.

Despite bad weather condition, invited guests from Manila with Dr. Jane Bacayo, Director of the National Meat Inspection Service (NMIS) managed to attend the conference and shared about the Meat Inspection Updates.

Meanwhile, Dr. Veronica Matawaran, Professor of the University of Philippines (UP) College of Veterinary Medicine emphasized the importance of Continuing Professional Education (CPE).

She said that education is a lifelong process and it is a professional responsibility not only for veterinarians but for all discipline to be competent through acquiring knowledge untiringly.

Dr. Manuel Carlos, City Veterinarian of Marikina City shared his experiences and programs being implemented by his office under Marikina LGU.

Fellow veterinarians had the chance to mingle and strengthen its relationships during the fellowship night highlighted with the induction of PVMA Caraga Chapter Officer for 2009-2010.

Dr. Emmanuel Jamis, PVMA National President inducted the Caraga Regional Officers who are composed of the following: Eduardo Forteza DVM as president; Isidro Lagumbay DVM, vice president; Bernadeth Montenegro DVM, secretary; Marie Jocelyn Santiago DVM, treasurer; Emmanuel Nono DVM, auditor; Belen Aruelo DVM and Board of Directors Belen Aruelo DVM, Edith Mongaya DVM, Marlo Sepe DVM, Gervacio Yparraguerre DVM and Mancio Danilo Alegado DVM.

On the second day morning, members of Regional Anti-Influenza Task Force (RAITF) conducted a meeting in Balanghai Hotel while other participants utilize the time through City Tour on Historical Sites such as National Museum, Balanghai Shrine and in newly built Diosdaco Macapagal Bridge.

In the afternoon, the group converged again in Inland Resort to attend another round of discussion about the New and Re-emerging Diseases in Swine and Wet Lab tackled by Dr. Eugene Mende of San Miguel Foods Incorporated.

As of now, we are still on a pre-selling period for lots only.
So wala pami package price for house and lot.

Ang Phase 1 pa ang among gi pre-sell karon, its about 20% na
ang nakuha since november 2008 until karon nga time.
Until rapod January 31, 2009 ang among promo for 11.5% nga
interest para sa installment payments nga good for 5 years after that we
will start na sa normal interest nga 15% for the monthly amortization.

So much better kung makakuha this time kay makabarato jud ang mga buyers. :)

If u can see the pic of the airport tito bob, the right side of the terminal, i think that is the expansion. they are planning to put the check in section of cebu pacific sa sulod sa terminal. karon kay sa gawas pa man sa terminal. i think mao ra na ang expansion nga atong makit an karon until next year. i really do hope that they will built a new terminal aside from extending the runway. and of course... the tarmac.

I interviewed one of the staff in the airport. He said nga nag problema jud daw sila sa special flights sa mga airlines. halos the same time schedule. The problem now in the terminal is paano nila ma accommodate if more than 2 airbuses ang mutugpa at the same time. The airport can handle 3 planes sa tarmac. However, the terminal itself, can only accomodate 2 airbuses. dili makaya sa volume sa passengers.

That is also the same problem to the airline companies. they planned to have many special flights this week to cover up the cancelled flights last week. pero d man gihapon matuman kay kulang sa facilities.
