Magkano na ngaun ang franchising ng Jabee? hehehe

Daghan advantages kung company owned. Mas daghan benefits and mas dako sweldo. For the operation side, no problems with ordering or with finances kung sa company coz ihatag lang na sa company. All we have to do is liquidate lang all expenses and take care of our net income. ang franchise is bayran gyud tanan orders before i-deliver. The only diadvantage kung company owned ka kay ang employees pwede lang ilabay bisan asa nga company owned store, naa mi reshuffling whereas ang franchise pwede lang ka stay-put sa imong store until mo-resign ka. Yep, JB Surigao is doing great!

For a small store, it's 25M (included na ang store itself, equipment plus the training of the team plus the famous Jollibee standee). The price goes higher if magkadako ang store.

Nag acquire na ang Provincial Govt ug yuta sa Cabadbaran for the new Capitol. However, ang nakapadugay sa construction is not the budget. Actually, ang budget, naa na. Ang problema are the staff working at the capitol. Almost tanan sa ila nag puyo sa Butuan City. Kung mabalhin man gani ang Capitol sa Cabadbaran, either madala sila ug transfer didto, or matangtang sila trabaho. Until now, nag negotiate pa sila.

- source, from a staff inside Capitol. And when i say staff, dili lang security guard.

Insakto jud ni, naa pod ko friend nga nag-work diha sa capitol pareha
pod ug rason.. kay silingan man pod mi.. Lisod pod ang final desisyon ani
kay adunay pay mga dapat i-consider. Sama sa imong gikaingon sir james.
Hopefully maka-come up sila ug maayo nga decision para sa kaayuhan sa tanan. :)

Bitaw nakunsinsiya ko kay akoy ngpasugod sa topic about Iraq Employment Ban lifting. Nghubog na hinuon

this recession has taken its toll on the IT jobs in the Pilipinas.....Intel for instance had just shut down their plant in Cavite....Mactan locators at MEPZ too are downsizing workforce...

the opening of Iraq to Philippine skilled labor should be welcomed...

lucky for BXU....its economic base is more on food, agro, agri, and aqua industries... I think the effect of global slowdown will be minimal on agro based industries and industries involved in food production

According to the Flying Star computation of Feng Shui; there are nine different stars which fly over different geographical sections each year based on the rotation of the planets.

The Wealth and Prosperity Star this Earth Ox Year will be positioned at the South East.

With this alignment of this prosperity star towards our direction relative to the center of the Philippines, the Year of the earth Ox will usher in greater prosperity for Butuan.

Agusan Marsh Sanctuary ~ UNESCO World Heritage Center
Bunawan Agusan del Sur

Agusan Marsh Wildlife Sanctuary, protected by law, covers an area of 14,835.989 hectares. It is a vast complex of freshwater marshes and watercourses with numerous small shallow lakes and ponds in the upper basin of the Agusan River and its tributaries which rise in the hills of eastern Mindanao. Some parts of the marsh are used for traditional fish ponds and rice paddies. The site acts as storage for rain water and acts as the most natural effective protection and defense from floods to the Agusan plain.

It is one of the largest and the most contained freshwater catch basin wetland in the Philippines. The main habitats of the marsh include freshwater swamp forest (49%), secondary scrub (14%), herbaceous swamp (7%), lakes, pools and rivers (10%), rice paddies and other agricultural land (6%), and small settlements (6%).

The Marsh is a valuable habitat for water birds such as species of wild ducks, herons and egrets. It is also the refuge of the rare Oriental Darter (Anhinga melanogaster) and Purple Swamp Hen (Porphyrio porphyrio) and the threatened Philippine Hawk Eagle, Spotted Imperial Pigeon and Rufous-lored Kingfisher.

my grandfather was a naturalized Filipino Chinese....

Chinoys have made an important mark as far as community building...they have risen from rags to the ranks and the riches....brought by sheer work and perseverance..

My mother used to tell us when they arrived here in BXU from then war torn Cotabato, Chinoys at that time sell all tyoes of goods in the roads, they go house to house, selling from banig to tupperwares...one prominent Chinese in Butuan who rose from these now happens to own one of Caraga's largest hotel here in BXU..

PGMA allots Php 2 billion for massive reforestation project

BUTUAN CITY, Jan. 26 (PNA) -– President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo has earmarked some P2 billion for a massive reforestation project for forest lands and protected areas throughout the country.

As part of the measures to counteract climate change, President Arroyo directed the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) to lead line agencies of the government and various sectors of the society in the continuing reforestation program in idle lands within forest lands and protected and watershed areas.

To date, the DENR has already planted an estimated 10 million tree seedlings of various tree species in some 13,000 hectares within the country’s watershed and protected areas the past years.

The massive tree planting in watershed and protected areas is part of the “Tree for Life” program of Pres. Arroyo and DENR Secretary Lito Atienza.

Meanwhile, Agusan del Sur Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Officer (PENRO) Sixto Badua on Sunday suggested the agreement on three years maintenance of planted trees among the local governments, tree plantation holders, companies and other concerned agencies that conducted tree planting activities in their respective localities, should have five years instead thorough maintenance for a more successful tree plantation program.

“Our local officials down to barangay level play a vital role to these sustainable activities,” Badua said.

He also said that all agencies of the government particularly the Department of Education has also a vital role to play in the information education campaign (IED) in the environment preservation and forest protection, and mining and forestry laws rules and regulations.

“Our students from elementary up to college level should know about the environment and natural resources and the climate change,” he said.

He said people should be encouraged to go on tree plantation and agricultural activities while farm-to-market roads and irrigation program should step up through the IEC program. (PNA)

Good evening BXU....Sorry I'm late. Nakaduty man gud ko karon.

To start my day, I've been following a blog of the recent Valley Golf incident involving a Cabinet Secretary and his sons which I presume you are all aware of. Lately the blog has shifted to political issues and to my surprise two bloggers mentioned some personalities there in BXU regarding illegal logging activities. Here is the link of Bambi da la Paz blog:
https://www.blogger.com/comment.g?postID=6165548494667218640&blogID=8576055374894032437&isPopup=false&page=8

Just scroll down (about 3/4 of this page) and search for the contribution of Manassas Benedict and a certain Alvin. I'm aware that this a very sensitive issue as it named names that's why I don't want to comment on this (for your eyes only na lang and keep it to yourself). Btw, the link of this blog was also posted in the Marawi Forum last December.

actually the Butuan Airport Development Plan was already conceived 6 years ahead prior to that incident in 2007....this was under the Asian Development Bank's Third Airports Development Program.....

However the DOTC-ATO failed to expedite the detailed plans of the 6 airports across the country thus fund release was severely stalled ending in the cancellation of the loan ..

that airport upgrade isn't completely done yet....unfortunately turtle paced work

but the runway lights which I believed you did not see (coz you did not make it to the runway as your flight was cancelled)...were already installed..

the terminal building especially the pre departure really I must say needs a fast upgrade works NOW

They should give much attention about this project. :bash::bash:

it's rainy season here in the country..t'was that time when most flights to NorMin and Caraga were all cancelled

that airport upgrade isn't completely done yet....unfortunately turtle paced work

but the runway lights which I believed you did not see (coz you did not make it to the runway as your flight was cancelled)...were already installed..

the terminal building especially the pre departure really I must say needs a fast upgrade works NOW

While runway lighting is imperative for ensuring safe night time vision for pilots, it has some visibility limitations if the weather is really bad. The costly Instrument Landing system (ILS) is best suited for difficult landing conditions even at 0 visibility. This provides precision guidance to an aircraft approaching a runway with less intervention from the control tower. This navigational aids has been utilized in busy airports for quite a long time. It was first installed in 1940's. The latest of this kind of technology is called Localizer Performance with Vertical guidance (LPV).
