What will the City of Miami be like in 20 years? Given the constraints that the boundaries of Miami-Dade has been pushed to the Everglades and Miami has nowhere to go but up what areas will be affected by this future growth? Will Overtown have a fresh new appearance? Will Brownsville and Allapatah and other poor areas add more afforable housing with the advent of new Mid-rise and Low-rise Condiminiums? Will there be a lot more gentrification?

No, Arkon! All high-rise condos will have docks with lobbies on the 5th floor and a VERY elevated rail system will be under construction. You will have to boat or canoe to everywhere you go, but we will have a forest of skyscrapers sticking up out of the water.:)

This Killer of our Earth asteroid will pass by us in 2028 only a Moon away from Us,
YES, I mean That close, only 600,000 miles away.
It will be a scary sitruation on earth that year, as it will miss us, but, will Directly hit Us in 2036,
If we don't stop it, or push it off Earth's Orbit !!!:ohno:
I've been following this Apophis Asteroid for many years now,
And if we , the world don't do anything about this huge rock by April 13th, 2036, We are Doomed !!!:bash:

The FAA won't allow the asteroid because it will be too tall for the flight path.

Even when it comes back the second time it still has a slim chance to hit earth. Dont worry chuck, its more likely that it wont hit us. The chances of it coming back the second time are 10%. And there is no chance of it hitting us the first time. I watched a really cool show about it, all they have to do is barely push it off course and it will miss, they have a number of ways to do this. But what ppl dont get is that that is a last resort, this thing probably wont hit and is mainly just dooms day hype.

Right on! Traffic doesn't need to be a nightmare, just don't own a car! =)

Thats because you have no clue about real density... Exactly, Last Saturday, I attended an Environmental Education session of a group that I belong to. It started at Homestead High and then moved to a tour of the Everglades. While on the 45 minute drive to Homestead High, it occured to me that this is longest trip that my SUV had taken in a very long time!
I live one block from where I work. My SUV is parked most of the time, it has 9,400 miles in the last 2 years.
Priuses from Kendal congest the roadways as much as any other car.
The best thing that you can do for the environment and your heart is to live near your workplace....density is great!!!!

Density is even better when you have mass transit.
