apologies if this has been mentioned before but does anyone know what the red strip of light across swiss re is? i first noticed it about a month ago, and it's been bugging me ever since!

I too was wondering why the red strip has turned up. Perhaps its an upgrade to the lighting scheme? Not much of an upgrade though.

Perhaps, but this red strip has only been around for a couple of weeks(?) though, so why the change?

I thought when it appeared it was just for Christmas. But it still hasn't changed, so maybe it's permanent. Still not sure how they are managing to light an entire floor with it though.

On a separate but related note, does anyone know why the top set of aircraft warning lights seem to be permenantly switched off? Did they cause the interior restaurant up top to glow red at night? I kinda liked them on in a 'more lights must be better' way (I know, I clearly have far too much time on my hands....)
