NAME: Esplanade de Bab-El-Bahr

LOCATION: Rabat- Bouregreg River

Esplanade rive droite

Faisant face à la Qasbah des Oudayas cette partie de la rive doit être aménagée pour restituer une vue convenable sur la médina de Salé et sur la rive, qui avant 1930, était un espace intensément utilisé mais non construit. L’aménagement proposé de l’esplanade vise à restituer un espace aménagé et arborisé mis à la disposition de la population pour toutes les activités de loisirs : pique nique, jeux, promenades etc.

Il sera moins densément aménagé que la rive de Rabat pour permettre une plus grande variété d’utilisation par la population de l’agglomération. L’arborisation de cette vaste place sera organisée pour laisser place aux cônes de vues les plus intéressants sur les médinas de Rabat, Salé
et la Qasbah des Oudayas. Cet aménagement visant à rendre cet espace à une utilisation publique, nécessitera le déplacement des bâtiments qui l’occupent actuellement: chantier d’hôtel, centre d’instruction de l’intendance des FAR, stade communal, cabanons, camping.

Yes, and I wouldn't like a tour on such boat either, plus, the water looks unclear a bit, nasty are those who use it as a trash :bash:
