Cartoon Network unveils Kuwait park plans

Cartoon Network Enterprises has entered into an agreement with Future Kid & Real Estate Co. to develop a fully branded Cartoon Network theme park in Kuwait City. The 3,500 square meter venue is scheduled to open at the end of 2008.

"This is a timely and exciting deal which puts Turner at the heart of a thriving entertainment industry in the Middle East,” says Jeff Kupsky, president of Turner Broadcasting System Europe, owner of

Cartoon Network. “The Kuwait City indoor theme park will enable visitors to sample the Cartoon Network experience on a grand scale, and truly interact with our characters and brands.”

The EMEA region already houses theme parks from DreamWorks Animation, Universal and Marvel Entertainment.

to me this project sound very familiar with "Child Development Center",i mean the plot size and the opening time , could it be the same project or at least part of the Child center project

there is an advert in todays newspaper they said it's in fron of dasman palace !!

I must say i am very disappointed... it's very similar to future kids and the like..... what were they thinking? calling this a THEME PARK!!!! i was expecting something totally different!:ohno:

You wouldnt believe how hard I laughed at those pictures. I havent laughed this hard for a very long time. Thank you Kuwait, for making my life more exciting and entertaining! :lol:

Honestly... when anyone first reads the comment at the top of the page, about how Turner Enterprise is "excited" about this whole plan to make Kuwait a focal point for Middle Eastern entertainment... honestly, after all the hype, I started imagining Dubai-esque visions in my head. Big, glamarous, theme park, hi-tech, enriched with quality, etc.

My god. Just look at how cheap it is lol... Honestly its so pathetic. :lol:
Even the kids look gutted.

I expected something on a grand scale, like Universal studios theme park, etc. Instead, we see a cheap revonation of some supermarket, with cheap settings. I mean, not only is it small-scale, its also so cheap, for a country like Kuwait.

TOLD YOU GUYZ TO STOP COMPLAINING AND START PROTESTING BUT NOOO WE STILL WILL COMPLAIN. any way i think we can compare this with the one in alwafi mall in dubai both of them are cheap.
